Nico stares at me and his eyes turned teal and I realized he was worried

I want the gold to come back

"Nico..." I lean in and kiss him again and he squeaks in surprise and I pull away and they were turning gold again

"I love you too" I chuckle and they turned completely gold and he tackles me on the bed in a hug and kisses me 

"Thank the gods" he whispered I chuckle and hold him on top of me as he laid on me

"You are so fucking cute" I snicker and he blushes his eyes flickering blue before going back to gold

"Shush it" Nico mumbles looking down at me. His hair was getting long it was almost to his shoulders

"You consider a hair cut? I like your hair long but maybe a trim?" I ask playing with his hair as he laid on me

"I might. Its kinda oily and but I wanna keep the bangs" He said and I smirk

"You just like your bangs cause your eyes" I point out and he snorts

"Perhaps" he said and I shake my head at him

"You should show your eyes more I think. But thats just my opinion" I say and he shrugs

"Maybe. Guess you'll find out later" He smirks and I chuckle

"Cheeky" I say and he snorts and looks down at me and then his eyes turn blue and he jumps off blushing

I start laughing "did you just realize you were on top of me?" I cackle and his cheeks burned

"Yea..." He mumbles and I calm down and I pull him into my arms and he straddles my lap

"Your so cute I think I'm gonna explode" I tease moving his hair and his eyes were still blue with flecks of gold

"I think I like that color. But golds my favorite" I say and  his eyes turned back to gold making me smile

"I was wondering what was going on with the gold. Like the first time I saw it is when when kissed for the first time. It was for a second, then it just kept flickering and sometimes when your eyes were hazel they would have specks of gold. Guess now I understand now." I says and he looks like he is thinking about what to say

"I can feel when my eyes change a complete color. So I didn't feel it when they slowly appear unless it appears completely. I do know they can be two colors at once I noticed it once after talking with Jason that they were purple and yellow. So I guess it makes sense" Nico says and I lean up to give him a peck on the lips

"I wonder what other colors will appear. So far my list has what I noticed and what you told me" I explain and he gives me a confused look

"You have a list?" He asks and I hum and pull it out of my pocket unfolding it and place it on the bed so we can look at it

Nico snorts at me with a little bit of orange in his eyes and he looks at the list
