[Recap: Veer tried to scare Rani. They finally get a hotel to stay. Veer goes to get the car repaired leaving Rani. Rani starts behaving strange after he returns.]
Veer: aesa kya miladiya inhone iss Barfi mai ki aapki ye halat hogayi?
Veer murmured to himself while checking the other Barfi properly. But it looked absolutely fine. No smell, nothing.
Suddenly Veer's attention was drawn towards a glass and a bottle kept beside the plates. Rani probably had used the glass to drink something.
Veer: ye bottle? Iss mai kya hai Rani?
Rani: ee botal? ...ee...mai to... sharbat! Sharbat thha!
Veer: Aapne kya iss sharbat ya jo bhi ho...isse piya hai?
Rani: jii! Par sirf...ek gilas...
Veer: par aapne to kaha aapne sirf Barfi khyi hai..
Rani: Aapne to khane ka pucha...kaa piya oo thodi pucha ....
Her words followed a tipsy laugh.
Veer shook his head hearing her innocent sa answer.
Veer: (smelling the glass) jiska darr tha wahi hua...
Rani! Ye koi sharbat nahi hai...ye sharab hai, sharab...
Now he understood the reason behind her condition.
Sweets in general are not good foods to go with drinks because it gets one more drunk and out of self control than one should be.
Rani: par humko to...ee mitha mitha laga ... humne socha...sharbat hai...aur hum...pii gaye....
Veer: ab samajh aaya iss Barfi ka raaz, Asli kaam iss sharab ne kia hai...aur baki ka kaam barfi ne--... Anyways abhi jo important hai vo hai aapka nasha utar--
But Rani kept her finger on his lips to stop him from speaking.
Rani: kitna bol te hai aap....dactor saab! Thodi der... chup.. hojaiye...(sliding her finger down his face) aur..humari baat..suniye...
Veer: mujhe kuch nahi sunna aur mai chup bhi nahi hounga balki aapko Meri baat sunni padegi...
Rani: aap....humesha...humme daantte... rehte hai..aap.... humse....prem hi naahi krte!😭.
Veer: Aesi baat nahi hai Rani.. mai aapki bhalai k liye hi keh raha hoo ...(cupping her face) meri baat maniye Please... jaake hath muh dho lijiye... Mai tbtk lemonade la intezaam krta hoo.
Rani reluctantly went to the washroom.
Within two minutes, Veer heard a loud splash sound.
He ran to check on her.
Veer: Rani aap theek---
Veer's words stopped mid-air as he found Rani sitting inside the bathtub, playing with water.
Veer: Rani? Maine aapko muh dhone ke liye kaha thha nahane ke liye nhi!
Rani: dekhiye na... dactor saab... Kitna bara talab...hai... Aap bhi... ajaiye... Boht maja aayega...
Veer:🤦♂️ meri pyaari Rani ... please bahar aaiye. Aapko already zukham hai, agar aap zyada der tk paani mai rahegi to---
Rani: Hum...bimar... hojayenge... Pata hai... humme...
Veer: pata hai na? To ab acche bacche ki tarah aajaye bahar...come...
Veer held his hand and pulled her out of the water.
She landed on his chest.
Veer: Dhyan se...
He said seeing Rani stumble.
With Veer's support she was finally able to walk out properly.
