"dinner with the Madrigal's"

It was time, 6:30 pm. Carlos will be here any moment now. And i'm feeling nervous as hell.
“Abuelo what if they wont really like me?” i asked biting my finger nails.
Abuelo walked towards me and hugged me, “its ok to be nervous, but i know you got this” he said with a supportive thumbs up.
I chuckled and nodded, with a confident expression on my face. “your right Abuelo, i got this!” then a knock on the door was heard.
Abuelo opened it to reveal Carlos, “hola señor, hola mi reina” he said with a slight bow like a true gentlemen would do.
Me and Abuelo looked at each other before smiling. I hugged Abuelo before walking out the door with Carlos.
He held my hand as we walk, probably because he could see the worry and nervousness on my face.
“are you nervous for tonight?” he asked softly as i nodded.
“i mean, who wouldn't. I'm meeting your family! The "amazing Madrigal's" to be specific.” i said.
He patted my head, “its alright, i'm sure my family would love you around.” he says with a smile to make me feel a little relax.
As we approach the La Casa Madrigal, we stumble across Camilo and Veronica.
I lean closer to Carlos's ear and whispered, “why is she here?” i asked.
