"Chrom." You called

"Y/N why is Lucina here? You're supposed to be with-" Chrom was about to ask

"Perhaps she should know that you're leaving without saying goodbye? Hmm I wonder who you're reminding me off..." You told sarcastically

"You heard as well? Ah I'm sorry Y/N... But I have to-" Chrom apologized but you stopped him

"I know what you're going to say. No I'm coming with you. You all won't survive without me." You told

"What about Lucina? Won't it make her sad to know her only mother gave her life to protect her? No. I'm not doing that. You remember how we had no parentage? I'm not letting Lucina suffer that." Chrom responded with concern

"I know Chrom. Surely you wouldn't want Lucina crying 'Where's Father?' Knowing you died? I know she'll be fine, after all you told me all the stories about being wetnursed. She's a strong girl, like myself... Let me come with you. We can be together since we're not always alone at home. Please Chrom?" You begged as you looked to Lucina staring at Chrom

"Aw! Come on Chrom!" Lissa's voice echoed as she ran through the halls

"You're siding with your sister?" Chrom asked as he faced Lissa

"OF COURSE! She's OUR family!" Lissa aided you

"You leave me no choice. You can come. Just stay close. I can't count all the times I almost lost you." Chrom spoke lowly only you could hear

Lucina cooed silently.

"She wanted to see you, We were worried you didn't get enough sleep. Did you sleep ok?" You asked as you turned Lucina to face Chrom

"Yes just fine. I'm ok. I love you Lucina!" Chrom answered as he snuggled Lucina

"Awww! YOU GUYS ARE SO CUTE I'M GONNA DIE OF CUTENESS OVERLOAD!" Lissa exclaimed

"You could either get Frederick or go back to your room which is it?" Chrom asked firmly

"Lighten up big brother! I'm only teasing! Oh he here is!" Lissa teased

Frederick bowed once he returned.

"Everyone is ready. I will send an escort to venture ahead." Frederick answered as he left to the barracks

"You know Chrom... Not one thing made you different from you those 2 years ago." You grinned softly as you held Lucina

"What? From being a Shepard or a leader?" Chrom asked

"Both. Well... only a little, since we married and had Lucina... You've grown to be more tender and fair. I've seen it *giggles* Especially when it comes to Lucina." You mentioned

"I know. I just want to cherish Lucina with every moment, it won't be long until she turns 1..." Chrom spoke sincerely as he stroked Lucina's hair

"I do too. Chrom. But we'll make it back home. I know we will." You kissed Chrom after you spoke your piece

Chrom reciprocated as he parted away.
