"Did Sunghoon not yet respond to our messages?"
"Ah.. ne.." the butler replied.
"*Sigh* what time does he get home?"
"He gets off school around 6 pm and arrives at 7 pm" the butler answered.
"Fine, let's go wait at the hotel for now and head to his apartment later"
"Understood"
Upon hearing the woman's command, the butler carefully changed his lane to prepare turning towards the destination.
The woman on the other hand sat disappointedly at the back.
'just why does he not want me to come here? Tsk'

'Karina.. why is she in this city?'
I can't help but ponder since this city is too far away from our previous school. For some reason, I can feel some bad premonition.
'Is she just here for visit? But who? Relative? Or is it... Sunghoon? That's probably the case... I hope...'
The very last thing that I would hope to happen would be her finding me. Because it would equate to losing, again, everything.
Yeji and Soobin... I cherish them a lot. If they find out, I'm afraid I'd be left alone again. Not even the others who I made friends with in school.
Thinking about it happening made my chest tighten. I reached out for it with my right hand trying to calm myself down. But suddenly, I felt someone glancing at me. I looked up and saw that it was Sunghoon.
Immediately, I straighten my back, withdrawing my hand, acting as if nothing happened.
I just continued to walk behind Sunghoon so as not to make any misunderstandings in case other people see us. However, while we are on our way to the school, I noticed his pace slowing down until finally stabilizing when I caught up to him.
"W-what are you doing?"
Upon hearing my question, he glanced at me before speaking.
"Let's walk together. We used to do it in the past too, anyway. Right?" He replied with a smile before looking forward again.
"I don't have such past" I sneered before walking faster, leaving him behind.
'he just keeps on bringing up the past! Ugh.. I think my stress level is rising..'
Thankfully, there aren't too many student around us. But I have to stay away from him as much as possible because the nearer we get, the more schoolmates we'll meet.
"You do" he insist before striding long steps, catching up to me.
"I told you I don't!" I walked faster again.
"Stop lying" and he catched up again.
"Y-ya! Will you stop following me?!" At this point, I was already slightly jogging.
"Pfft- wanna race on our way there? Fine" he started running which scared me for a moment.
"YA! PARK SUNGHOON! AISH!" I cursed before sprinting wanting to lose him. However, I nearly forgot that he was once an athlete. Compared to me who has nothing else to do other than eating, sleeping, and studying, I am definitely nothing.
He easily catches up.
"Geuman harago!" But then again, I sped up every time he did. I know I would just lose the longer we ran but I can't just give up as well.
