Chapter 26

I woke up earlier than usual and made breakfast and lunch for the kids I planned a day schedule for Dylan called the nanny. Woke te girls up and washed Dylan while the girls were eating breakfast. I then went to wake Matthew up and left him showering. Once Matthew was eating breakfast I went to shower.
Then I also ate breakfast and took the girls to school once the nanny arrived. Matthew went to work.
Everything was now in order and I am getting used to being Ms Boss. It is really hard to attend meeting after meeting. But I am glad there are PAs.

Speaking of PAs I gave Victor the job it wasn't favoritism he was the only person who wanted the job and his CV was accurate and it made sense to be my PA. He is going to get a tough time tryna be fast and all , but he is my best friend I couldn't ever torture him like that.

He has being complaining that I give him too much work. But it is what it is. Work I don't do he must do. I sound as if I am being cold. OmG.
I get a call from a private number.i usually don't answer but it might be someone from work or Sponsors who want to Talk about business. quickly connect my earpods and answer.

" Hi?"

" Good Morning Ma'am. It's Roger."

Who in the fuck is Roger?

" Hi Roger."

" Oh I am glad you still remember me. So last week we talked about the feeding scheme at Clones High School."

" Oh yes Roger Uhm would you come to my office today and we'll talk more about it I am currently driving. you'll tell me more about it and we can finalize a date."

" Okay great see you there Ms Styles."

Oh my gosh I need to learn my clients names or else I won't be doing a great job or at least those faces.
I drove into the office gates and I saw that Matthew was standing and seemed angry. I just pretend I didn't see him.

I parked my car. As I was about to open the door he opens it and drags me out the car.

" What the hell is wrong with you!?"

" What did I do?"

" Don't pretend you don't know?"

" Matthew please, okay I don't know what you are talking about.!"

" This is exactly what I hate. We go to the same office but with different care why?

" We aren't dating. Or Married. I can't be traveling with you.i need to_." He cut me off

" Listen why don't accept the fact that you love me?"

" Because I don't"

" Look me in the eye and tell me. Why is it when I get close to you you have this awkward body language. Are you afraid I will see the truth?"

" Matthew let me go."

" No! Tell me Now! Do you love me or not ?"

I can't look him in his eyes. I can tell him I don't love him but looking in his eyes is different.

" Okay fine. You said it , I will leave you alone."

He lets go of my hand and walks away. So much useless drama in the morning. I fix my posture and take my keys and bags with me.

While walking in I was greeted by all employees and they seemed all loving , it could be fake but at least they don't show it.
I get to my office and it's already packed nicely my coffee is there and it's hot. My schedule is decked and put on the wall. My drawer is packed neater. Oh I forgot Victor is OCD and likes things packed accordingly. He is so time managed that he never misses a day without doing anything as planned unless something goes wrong.

I had a Zoom meeting with three Business Owners who were giving me advice and guidelines ok how to handle this business the way Mr Brown handled it.
We talked for a while and it wasn't as bad as thought it would be they were good people and seemed as of they knew what they were talking about so I made sure I listened and had Victor and myself take notes.
After a while we talked about things that did not make sense. We were way off topic.

Later that day Roger came and we did our little meeting and talked about the foods he thinks the children at his school would enjoy. He is the tuckshop manager. We talked about sandwiches and pies with a diet juice. Maybe a fruit and a snack.
He was a good talker and made sure his points were short and understandable. We spent less than an hour talking about everything. We made an agreement and all the food is due next week and we have to make sure we make it every Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Once he left I took a short break before calling Matthew and telling him. Since we own the Business together.
Matthew came before I could call him.

" Roger nice guy hey?"

" Yea not bad very formal and knows his stuff"

" What type of stuff?"

" Work!"

" Okay I wanted to tell you that Mr Comber called and said he would drop off the goods today. And Angela wants to added to the best project."

" Angela ?"

" The internship?"

" Oh yes. Uhm talking about projects I have the perfect one. Sit down first."

He sat down and tried to be professional. It was really odd to have him sitting on the smaller chairs as he was my boss once in my life.

" So Roger_"

" Ah! Yes what did he say?"

" Well he is a tuckshop manager at Clones High School. He wants us to sponsor them with food for his new feeding scheme his due date is from next week Every Tuesdays and Thursdays."

" Ou okay great. We can add Angela to the project and Mr Kilper can make the power points for you while we have to monitor the packaging for the goods. "

" Yes sounds like a plan. Any board room meetings yet? "

" No not yet. Ronald still needs to finish with his sold planning"

" Ronald!!! He was the thing i keep forgetting! "

" Thing ? I am so offended for him"

" Oh man go back to your office. "

" What if I wanted to stay and have lunch with you?

" Booked Victor is coming."

As I said that Victor enters.

" Yass queen Victor is here Darling!." He shouts. I am sure the whole office can hear him.

" Oh I can still sit here I don't mind a date for three." Mattha]ew said and it only sounds so as if he is talking about Victor and not me.

" Oh my I guess I should leave then?" Victor says

" NO! YOU CAN'T CANCEL OUR PLANS!!" I said.

" Why not ?" Matthew asked

" It's an order! " I said to Victor

" Why can't he cancel ?" Matthew asked again

" Because I want to have lunch with him , you can stay if you want but he must be here!" I said

" Okay fine I'll stay babes." Victor said while taking his seat.

" So what are we eating." I asked and took the food.

Matthew got up and left as if he was annoyed or irritated. I really don't care if I can't have my friends around then he can't be around either.

Matthew and I ate and chatted just before I went back into meeting mode.
