Chapter 16

Once I was done with my work for the week, I went to submit it to the board room, so that it's easier for Mr Brown to find it. Oh yeah I forgot! Im going on vacation with the all the kids. I am going to get two weeks leave and the kids are on holiday... Mr Brown said he would pay for all of us since his daughter is coming with.
And I still need to tell Emily that her father is my new boss. Gosh , her possible reaction is giving me anxiety.

I pack my stuff and put them in the cupboard and some in the drawer.
I took the girls bags and went to my car. I first called Leah to tell her not to bring the kids back to the office. Before I could start the car , Mr Smith came to my car and opened my door. I was scared thinking he would kidnap me again so I quickly reacted by kicking him in the wrong parts.

" Ouch! What the hell! What was that for geez!!!!" He groaned holding his parts he was even turning pink.

" Im sorry I thought it was someone else" I lied

" My word!" He says and walks back to sit down.

" Im really sorry , I just thought it was someone like a thief or kidnapper"

" Why would anyone be kidnapping you here ,?"

" I don't know, if I was able to be kidnapped at a bar with thousands of people,what's stopping anyone from kidnapping me in the office parking lot?"

" Owww you really hurt me there!"

" What were you thinking opening my door like that? "

" You forgot your purse in my office"

" Purse? Really my purse is always in my handbag"

" Okay fine , I wanted to say bye. And don't forget about telling Uhmmm..."

" Emily!"

" Yes Emily about me okay?"

" Okay fine bye."

" Are you not going to massage me ,Im in pain" he said smirking

" Eww No!"

I went back into my car and started it and drive off as fast as I could. I switched on the radio and how coincidental that my favorite song came up. 'Million Reasons' by Lady Gaga. I sang along to the song , more Lady Gaga songs came up and I was wondering why try played them until I remembered that it's her birthday. Gosh how could I forget my favorite artists birthday. 28 March.
I enjoyed myself listening to Lady Gaga's songs.

I safely arrived home. The apartment was so dark but I remember leaving the lights on. I walked slowly inside and went to switch the lights on,

"SURPRISE!!!!" everyone in the house exclaimed giving me a fight.

" Happy birthday Mommy " Emily said giving me a tight hug and a kiss on my forehead

" Happy birthday Aunty Bella" both Cassandra and Leandro said. Also giving me hugs.

" Happy birthday Bella!!" All the adults shouted at once.

" OMG thank you so much guys, I don't know how I have forgotten that it was my birthday, I guess I was under a lot of stress, and work overload" I said with a teary face.

" Okay now Miss Busy with work all day, how about you go wear something sexy and come join us to this small party we have planned for you." Victoria said and pushed me to my room.

Victoria helped me dress up and make up and also did my hair, since I had so much curly hair it was hard for her to put it into a neat hairstyle

" Has Emily asked about her father again?"
