Dean's P.O.V
Renee Y and I were walking around L.A. wondering where to go.
"Where do you want to go Renee?" I asked.
"Hmm... let's go to that cafe for a quick snack." She said.
We both went towards the cafe and went inside.
"May I get you two anything?" A waitress asked us as we sat down.
"Umm... can I get a-" Renee started to say but I started to zone out.
I looked around the cafe and all of the sudden I saw Renee C walk in.
I was about to wave to her but noticed she was here to meet someone else.
That Mateus boy!
"-want Jon?" Renee Y said.
"Huh?" I said, snapping back to reality.
"What do you want Jon?" Renee Y asked again.
"Oh um, I just want a coffee." I said.
The waitress nodded and left. Renee Y started looking through her phone, and I decided to try and eavesdrop on Renee C and Mateus's conversation.
"Renee... I have to confess something." Mateus said.
"W-What?" Renee C stammered.
"Renee... I love you. You have always been in my thoughts and my heart always feels strange when I just say your name! Renee, I know we've been hanging out for a month, but will you be my girlfriend?"
Wait! That Mateus boy asking Renee C to be his girlfriend!?
"Yes Mateus I would love to!" Renee C said.
They both got up, leaving a tip, and left.
"Renee let's go!" I said.
"W-What!? We just got here!" She said.
"Let's just go!"
Renee Y and I left the money we owed and went outside.
"Jonathan Good what is wrong with you!"
"Renee....just go back to the arena! I-I need time alone." I said, walking off.
I went to the park and noticed Renee C and Mateus were there sitting on a bench.
Mateus leaned towards Renee and kissed her. I hid behind a tree and watched, feeling anger building up in my chest.
Why the hell am I even getting angry!? It's not like she's my girlfriend!
I kept watching and Renee stopped the kiss, and looked around.
I hid behind the tree hoping she didn't see me.
"What's wrong?"
"Mateus... let's go so you can meet my family." Renee said.
Shit!
I started running.
When Renee said family, I knew she meant us!
I just hope I get to the arena before she does because I'm not good at hiding secrets from her at all!
