Carrying the surname of the Lacsamanas, I'm lying if I say that life wasn't easier from the start.

Hinihilot ni Xautheus Ajax Samantila ang bridge ng ilong niya nang dumating ako sa basketball court ng school. The Samantila is here with his other cousins, Odysseus, Elzaire, and Pacen.

"Where's Cazian?" tanong ko dahil iyon lang naman ang Samantila na mahilig sa basketball.

Odysseus or Dice answered my query, "He needed to go to the office.."

I nodded then reviewed the place.

"Punta kayo sa bahay. Anemone wants to go to the sea." Dice demanded.

I glared at him, "E bakit hindi nalang kayo?"

Tinignan niya rin ako, "Ayaw mo ba?"

I thought of what I might do in the weekends. Wala naman akong gagawin kaya..

Ngumiti ako sakanya, "Anong oras ba 'yan?"

Namalayan ko nalang, nakikipagtitigan na ako roon sa pinsang babae ni Dice na ilang beses ko palang ata nakikita. She's pretty.

Maybe, I should come get close with the Samantilas more?

Yeuane spoke while playing a mobile game in his cellphone, "Ondrea got a boyfriend."

He said, referring to the girl whom I was flirting with in the last weeks.

"Hayaan mo sya." sabi ko nalang.

"She's pretty and smart. You sure you don't want to get serious with her?" pangingialam niya parin sa mga desisyon ko sa buhay.

Tinignan ko siya, "Akala ko ba sabi mo may boyfriend na?"

"I just know that she'd break up with the guy if you decided to get serious." napailing ako sa sinabi niya.

The girl is yes, I will be honest, she's pretty, smart and kind. The one who'd a typical guy want to be with. But, that's not the point. Kahit na alam kong medyo tama si Yeuane, I don't want to be a third party causing two couples to split apart. Every woman is worth fighting for, it's just, I can't fight for her.

Hindi siya para sa akin. Wala pang para sa akin.

"Stage.." tawag ng isang babaeng senior (upperclassman) sa akin.

Nilingon ko naman agad ito, at napakunot ang noo ko nang ma-realize na ito ata yung nahalikan ko sa pisngi dahil sa isang dare.

"Uh, para sa 'yo." sabay abot niya ng drink mula sa kilalang cafè.

I judged the surroundings first before deciding if I will get her gift or not.

Tumango ako at tinanggap ang drink matapos, "Thank you! I'm sorry nga pala last sunday. They were very into it.. You can turn down the dare if it is too uncomfortable for you. Sorry ulit."

Namula ang pisngi ng babae bago umiling, "No. Okay lang. I also liked the dare."

Natahimik ako.

Hindi naman sa maarte ako o ayaw ko sakanya, sa tingin ko lang ay hindi ako worthy ng mga regalo nila. Some even want to give themselves to me to the point that it feels so inappropriate. Tinatanggihan ko lang dahil kahit alam kong baka gusto nga nila ako, I am not deserving enough to get a piece from them when I don't even like them back.

Regardless of all my refusals to women, I was tagged as a playboy in our campus.

I don't deny the fact that I had a couple lists of flirts. It's just fair for them to name me as a playboy. Talagang hindi ako mahilig mag-commit kapag hindi pa ako sure kung gusto ko talaga yung tao.
