"You sleepyhead, wake up!" Mazikien's loud voice awakened my senses.

Who wouldn't be awakened by that, right? I mean, she's aggressively shaking my whole body as if I won't wake up.

"You damn woman. If I were Ame, the first thing I am going to do is to shut your fucking mouth and just continue to sleep. 'Di kaba naaawa sa tao, Maze? Really? Galing pa 'yan sa Tagaytay." Xautheus commented. I can  imagine the scowl on his face while saying his litany.

"I think he's right, Maze." I heard Guinevere's soft voice butting in.

Umupo na ako at hinayaan silang malaman na gising na ako bago pa magsimula ang mahabang argumento tungkol sa hahayaan ba akong matulog o gigisingin nalang.

"I promised. Go out of my room now, maliligo muna 'ko." nakita ko sa gilid ng mga mata ko ang pag ngisi at ikot ng mata ni Maze kila Guine at Xau. I heard Xau growned.

Kinamot ko nalamang ang ulo ko at nagdesisyon na tumuloy na sa pagligo. Maze would nag the heck out of me with Briseis. Umasa sila kaya kahit na gusto ko pang matulog ay wala akong magagawa kundi humayo at tuparin ang pangako ko.

After taking a bath, I saw Guine sitting on my bed. Nangiti ako nang makita na mukha nanaman siyang prinsesa sa araw na ito. She's wearing a white headband, along with simple embroidered white dress at doll shoes.

"Hey.." aniya habang dumideretso naman ako sa closet para magbihis. Hindi ko siya sinagot. Well, it's our way of communicating with each other. Alam naman niyang nakikunig ako kahit na 'di ako nagsasalita.

"I think..."

I waited patiently.

"...I like Aloi."

Wait?

What? What the hell?

Napalabas ako sa closet ko dahil sa sinabi niya. "You mean, Breaker Parcon?"

Ang mga inosenteng mata ni Guinevere Blaid ay tinignan ako. Her pure soul never lie or say anything bad to others. Kaya noong oras na tinignan niya ako ay nalaman ko na seryoso siya sa sinabi niya.

"You guys interacted this summer?" tanong ko nalang.

Since my cousins visited Washington, normal lang naman na may maka-interaksyon silang kakikalala  na nagbabakasyon rin roon. Parcons aren't an exception.

"Kinda. But we didn't have the chance to talk. I just kinda like his aura. I don't know, Ame."

I nodded. Opposite really does attract each other.

"Yeah, yeah. Just remember that he's living his name, Guine."

Matapos ng usapan na 'yon ay nagkaron pa kami ng ibang topic. We shared our summarized summer experience to each other.

Done with all of things I should do, I decided to go downstairs to attend the said event held by my very own cousins. Pumalakpak si Mazikien nang makita ang ayos ko.

"Bravo!" she exaggerate as she said the phrase.

"Whatever you say, Maze. Let's just go." sabi ko sakanya at nginisihan lang niya ako. I looked at Xau and saw that he's wearing his headset. By the way it looks, I think he and Maze argued because of a petty thing.

Kasalanan rin naman nila 'yan. Kung alam nilang 'di sila magkasundo-sundo, bakit sila didikit sa isa't isa? Weirdos.

"Our other cousins bought some instruments. I think, they'd force you play some songs.." my maldita couz announced her thoughts.
