Just For The Moment

You were walking back home from your interview with Marigold, browsing Voxtagram on your phone. You weren't all that interested with the other social media accounts the other sinners had, but you couldn't help but feel a little curious about it. You played around on the app for a bit until you found a few interesting posts on the discovery feed and you happened to stumble upon Marigold's account. Without thinking twice, you instantly decided to follow her account and scrolled through her most recent posts.

True to her flashy and boisterous nature, her posts are flooded with things pertaining to her jobs as well as her behind the scenes monthly fashion shows. Each slide showed every moment of her involvement in the fashion industry and region development. All while showing how much she enjoys her work. Even her casual posts look very sophisticated and chic. Although, it looks very over-the-top.

A few seconds later, you received a message on the app you were currently browsing on. Wondering who it was, you went to your inbox and you nearly dropped your phone from the immediate excitement and giddiness bubbling inside you. You covered your mouth to silence the squealing.

No fucking way.

Marigold just messaged you!

On Voxtagram!

You wanted to cry out of joy of seeing your idolized celebrity crush messaging you. You were somewhat familiar with her by now, but you couldn't help but feel overjoyed by it. Still reeling in excitement, you read the message as follows:

Wild_Marigold: "Hey, kid! Seems that you found my Voxtagram account. Guess that means we can skip the exchanging contact info part. Oh but don't get the wrong idea. This is purely for business. I'll be looking forward to seeing you again!"

You briefly noticed the three dots at the bottom of the chat. Seems that Marigold is online now and is still typing out her message. Moments later, you read the new message that was just now sent.

Wild_Marigold: "Don't worry about dressing up for your next interview. Just wear something mildly casual."

Well, that's a relief, you thought to yourself. At least you wouldn't have to worry about picking out an appropriate outfit for the interview. You're just hoping that Alastor wouldn't stress over whatever you have on; he could literally change them in a snap.

Not even a minute later, you received yet another message from a different recipient. This one you couldn't recognize at first because of their username. However, once you saw the message, it immediately clicked.

angie_fluffy_bootz: "Hey, Toots! Saw that you have a Voxtagram account now. About fucking time, too."

You held your hand to your mouth as you made a silent gasp. You couldn't believe it. Somehow, your friend, Angel, managed to find you at such a short notice. How did he even know that you were online? Without a second of hesitation, you responded to him explaining the reason why you ended up on this social media platform. You waited a moment for him to reply.

angie_fluffy_boots: "Velvet broke into your phone, huh? Yeah, she tends to do shit like that lol"

angie_fluffy_boots: "I would keep a closer eye on my phone if I were you. But hey! At least we can message each other now!"

He does have a good point, you thought. Rather than calling or texting you unexpectedly while you are around Alastor, you could easily send him quick messages to let him know when it's okay to call you. Of course, that won't be very easy when Alastor is more than inclined to hover over your shoulder like a hawk. Even when you're alone for more than a minute, that is more than enough to arouse suspicion from him. Ugh! Stupid deer demon for a master. Can't he just give you some bit of breathing room for once?
