I climbed up the steep stairs, bringing one foot over the other holding up my dress that kept falling to the ground. My wings fluttered from the coldness of the negative ten staircases, I wrapped my arms together in no use since my body temperature was naturally cold. She finally came up, only to see a Gargoyle silhouette, his wings extended out showing his strong side. He turned around looking up at the sky.
"Hi, Hades." I whispered, he quickly closed his wings, turning around smiling as he saw it was me.
"Princess, don't scare me like that." He released a sigh.
"Know what was so important you had to tell me." I mocked his message walking in between the pilards, leaning on them admiring the moonlight.
"It's about your friends Venus and Snow, right." He came behind me in a worried tone.
"Describe.'' In a stern voice now annoyed he was bringing them into it.
"Both dirty blonde hair, one with green and the other with blue eyes."
"Venus is the one with green, Snow has blue. Why do you ask?" I questioned, what he knew.
"Well I was outside on the roof after school for a breather, and I saw them both with a couple more people about 4 walking to the woods."
"Wait, the creepy one that leads to the stadium." I said shacking from the images that swirled through my mind.
"Yeah, I followed them and I noticed that when they were walking— their eyes all had white swirls in them. Not sure why it gives me the creeps, but I have a theory that they could be mind control but of course I could be wrong, and they just do it often."
"Manipulation, but it's rare for anyone to have it." I finally turned around, it made more sense on why Venus couldn't remember where she was and why Snow was acting so weird. My mind wandered knowing manipulation is something only for someone who is strong enough could whip out the memory of another.
"Yes the weirdest part was they weren't going anywhere precisely, they were just walking." He leaned on the pillar as he explained to Lavender what he saw.
"Where?"
"I don't know, I stopped after they left the border of Utopia."
"What, Why didn't you follow them?" She whispered screamed stepping forward to the Gargoyle, upset he did not follow them knowing he could have had an answer.
"Because I have a tracker on me and if I leave the school grounds the Headmistress will know, and I'll be in even more trouble." He said back showing me the metal band on his ankle. It blinked indicating it was on.
"Oh." She muttered feeling bad, he was just like me, trapped. Relating to her being in a castle stuck for her whole life, she crouched down to his foot seeing it was tightly on his ankle.
"If you're trying to take it off, don't bother, I already tried it." He scoffed annoyed with the punishment he got just for being born.
She put her hand on the band pulling through the electric shock from the band having it disarm from himself, the light immediately stopped blinking, until it let go of Hades ankle, she tugged onto the band and handed it to him.
"How did you-."
"It's electric, not magic base." She said happy to help the shocked gargoyle. He held the band in his hand, crushing it in his hand smirking at the fairy who let him free.
