Tk never intended to tell Carlos about how close he came to falling off the wagon he didn't think it was necessary he was going to therapy and things were actually fine for once so it didn't matter

Owen took the girls for the day so that way Tk could go to therapy and then after Carlos and him could have a day to their selves which was very needed to say the least

"Tk you have been quiet the past few meetings .." his therapist said

" I don't really have much to talk about .." Tk said sipping his water

Tk's therapist knew him better than that he had been seeing her since he moved to Austin he could tell when something was bothering Tk and this was one of those times so she wipped out some therapist tricks

" how are the girls ?" She asked Tk as he nursed his water some more

" good Ellie hasn't had a seizure in a few weeks and Maddie has made some new friends at her new school they both are getting good at horse riding ." Tk said giving a slight smile

" and Carlos ?" She asked

" really good he's studying to become a detective so he has his test for that soon and he hasn't almost died in some time so considering that good ."

" and how are you doing ?"

" okay ." Tk said giving a slight smile

" Tk do you notice how when I asked you about the girls and Carlos you went into details but when I asked you about yourself you didn't." She pointed out

" cause I have nothing to really talk about everything's been fine ." That was a lie everything wasn't fine but really Tk was kinda just done talking

" how has the anxiety been any panic attacks ?" She asked

"Fine haven't had any in a few weeks ." Tk said

" grab your coat ." His therapist said getting up

" I think being in this room is making you feel like your obligated to say something I wanna take you somewhere we're things might feel a little more comfortable ." She said

She took Tk to the pier as they watched the boats pull out for the evening Tk's feat dangled over the water the sound of the water made him feel at ease like he was free like he didn't have and problems

" talk when and if you want to you don't have to tell me anything about you it could be about the kids Carlos , anything , hell even your dog whatever your willing to share .." she said

Tk sat and enjoyed the water for a little before opening up.

" I almost went of the wagon the other day .."
tK said picking at his fingers

"Did something trigger you something make you feel like you had to ?" She said

" my mom passed away .. car accident .." Tk said looking at the boats

" I'm sorry to hear that Tk .. what stopped you ?" She asked

" I was reminded of my kids and Carlos I didn't want to do that to them.."

" well I'm glad because your my favorite patient." She laughed rubbing Tk's back

" I don't think your supposed to say that ." He laughed

" eh fuck ''em it's true ." She said

"Next time you wanna clear you head come here ." She said

"Okay ." Tk said smiling
