I wanted to give Tk sometime before I went to go talk to him so he could clear his head Also just for myself to figure out what just happened
I walked upstairs knocking on the door quietly before coming in Tk was laying on his side the balmier was covering his face so I couldn't tell if he was awake
"Ty are you awake ?" I said getting in bed rubbing his back
"Yeah ..I didn't mean to blow up on you I'm sorry ." He mumbled as he sat up
"You were right .." I said
" I need to make sure I wear my vest .." I said
"But when we went into this relationship we knew we both had dangerous jobs but since you switched my job is more dangerous but I think this is about more than my vest ." I said rubbing his
"Do you remember the other night when I woke up up In the middle of the night ..?" Tk said looking at me
"You mean do I remember you screaming and crying in your sleep and then latching onto me for dear life ?" I said
"Yeah and that but you didn't wear a vest and you got shot and you didn't make it .. and I -"
"I did this god t I'm sorry ." I said
"You didn't do anything ." Tk said
"That was the same day I fight my vest and got stabbed .."
" that wasn't your fault look it's fine ." Tk said
"I just .. don't wanna have to go through losing you ." Tk said putting his head in my shoulder
"And you won't have to I promise.." I said stroking his cheek with my thumb
"Don't make promises you can't keep .." Tk said
"Come here ." I said kissing his head
