Me and tk sat at the counter looking through the adoption paperwork form when we adopted both of them
"They can't do that can they ?" Tk said
"Not legally to the best of my knowledge ." I said
"Right there signed which states that we have fully custody and that even if their mom was to be let out of prison that we would still have custody ." Tk said
"They can't just tear families apart like that ." Tk said
"Hey we're gonna get them back alright .." I said rubbing his back
"What if Ellie has a seizure what if they don't give her her meds ?" Tk said
"What if Maddy has a nightmare? I doubt their abusive mother is gonna let her sleep with her
" what if she doesn't feed them ." Tk said
"There gonna be okay ."
"They belong here with us ." Tk said resting his head on the counter
"I don't wanna lose them ." Tk said wiping a tear from his eye
"We're not gonna lose them alright We will figure something out ." I said hugging him
"They belong here .." tk mumbled
" I know baby ."
