"Nice to meet you, I am Lee Chaeryeong... now a Shin I guess?"

Chaeryeong introduced herself to her wife's parents as they were looking at her with sparkling eyes.

Her wife's parents looked young for their age... and tall— as expected of genes.

"Shin Jaesung."

The father offered his hand for a handshake.

Certainly, Chaeryeong accepted this and shook his hand with a bow. Then the mother followed and casually hugged her, this surprised the shorter but promptly returned the embrace.

The mother pulled away and smiled at her in-law.

"I'm Shin Hina, please come sit down."

The mother elegantly motioned her hand towards the sofa, Chaeryeong bowed once again before approaching the sofa to sit down.

As if on timing, Yuna tailed her wife and sat down next to her. She called the maids to prepare the girl's favorite chocolate drink and laid her head on the latter's shoulder.

The taller's parents followed and sat down on the sofa just across them, the parents smiled at their in-law and sipped on their tea.

"As far as I know Yuna never liked anyone... This is abrupt, so how did you two manage to keep this a secret?"

Mrs. Shin asked, laying her back on the sofa's backrest, then landing her eyes on the shorter with beaming eyes.

"Honestly, I don't know... We just did"

Chaeryeong began to act and chuckled, she clasped her wife's hand and gazed at her with heart-eyes.

"You should ask your daughter actually."

Yuna returned her wife's gaze and sat up properly to face her parents.

"I simply never told you about her!" she responded.

"You are good at hiding things huh, sweety?"

Mrs. Shin smiled at her daughter with proud eyes, the two seemed to be communicating telepathically which looked strange for Chaeryeong.

Despite this, she maintained her smile and watched the three interact with each other.

A few minutes later, one of the maids approached them and placed the chocolate drink in front of Chaeryeong.

The shorter softly squeezed her wife's hand before letting go to drink the chocolate drink— no doubt she can drink these all day long till she passes out.

Chocaholic.

"How about you help me with lunch?"

"Of course!~" Yuna looked at her wife, "I'll be back okie?"

While sipping on the straw, Chaeryeong hummed and nodded her head in response. Yuna chuckled at this and kissed the girl's cheek.

Mrs. Shin stood up and walked towards the kitchen with her daughter trailing behind, leaving the other two in the living room.

When Chaeryeong finally finished drinking the drink, she placed the cup on the table and focused her attention on the man in front of her.

He had his eyes locked on the girl as if analyzing something, Chaeryeong couldn't help but tilt her head and call him out.

"Something the matter Sir?"

"Oh." Mr. Shin shook his head and smiled, " I was just wondering something... and please, call me dad."

"Okay, dad... what were you wondering? If you don't mind me asking..."

Mr. Shin examined the surroundings before sighing and sitting up properly to clear his throat, he spoke hesitantly.

"My child, she did something irrational to you that might've caused this right...?"

Chaeryeong remained calm, "...How did you know?"

The man held his forehead and released a huge sigh, "I know my daughter... she can be too— extreme."

"Oh, so you know?"

"Yes, I think she got it from her mother. My wife... I immediately diagnosed her with psychopathy back when she brought me somewhere and forced me to marry her."

"You are...?"

"A psychologist."

"Hm, that makes sense."

"Say, do you hold any feelings for my daughter?"

"I don't know how to answer that."

Mr. Shin chortled, "Answer it honestly please."

Chaeryeong averted her gaze and held the sofa's pillow, "...I don't, I'm sorry."

"Oh that's fine, I completely get you! Like mother and daughter right? After all, it's inevitable... you were scared right?"

Chaeryeong nodded her head.

"Hey, be wary around her alright? Try not to do anything that can confuse her feelings."

"I don't plan to, I guess I'll stick with her."

"Really?"

The man raised his brows, surprised by the girl's answer. Chaeryeong snickered at this and slowly nodded her head.

"Dad, do you love your wife?"

"At first I didn't, but as the days got longer... I've found myself falling for her— is that what you're going to do?"

Chaeryeong scratched her nape, "If I feel something... I won't succumb it, I'll go with the flow."

Mr. Shin smiled tremendously, "Thank you for considering."

As the shorter was about to respond, Yuna's lively footsteps were suddenly heard from the kitchen as it gradually gets louder towards their way.

"Chaengie! Let's go to my room!"

Yuna grabbed her wife's hand, pulling her up the sofa that caused the latter to stand up.

"Weren't you just helping your mom?"

"There's a lot of maids, I don't think I'm needed." Yuna giggled while she pulled her wife upstairs, "Bye dad!"

Mr. Shin could only laugh at the couple and stand up to walk towards the kitchen.

Chaeryeong didn't resist and followed her wife in hand, "What are you planning?"

"I want to cuddle!"

"I see."

Following her wife, Chaeryeong couldn't help but fall in wonder...

Will I be able to fall for this girl?
