Chapter 7: Eun Byeol's Confession

Eun Byeol changed her mind about recording her confession and decided a video will do since her throat is raspy and no one might believe them since anyone can different voices yet sound nearly similar when its soar. "I heard the doorbell rang but saw no one outside. Only my mother's voice. I was a fool to think it was actually my mother. Ms. Jin wrapped a kerchief at my nose and I lost consciousness. When I woke up, I saw that I was at the backseat of my car and forced myself to move. I figured if I don't do something, Yoon Hee might die and I don't want to cause pain to Ro Na. Not anymore. I couldn't move my legs so I used my arms. I managed to reverse the car that was pushing both of us to our deaths. However, when I got out. I saw my mother did something with the car and pushed it, killing Oh Yoon Hee."

Min Hyuk's eyes widened. This will scar Ro Na for life. "I jumped at the cliff to try and save her."

"Even if you can't swim?" Min Hyuk said.

"I know it was foolish but I don't want to do nothing. The currents were rough. It is easy to drown there. Took a while but I found her body. It took ages because Yoon Hee's body was heavy. I thought I would die too. I choked so much water back there. By then, my arms are still weak and hurting bad when I tried to escape at the car. I brought her at the shores where I was found, coughed the water out and tried to revive her but she's dead, Min Hyuk. She's dead," Eun Byeol cried and Min Hyuk pulled her face to her chest. 

"I heard someone come so I pretended I was unconscious but I heard the voice. It was Joo Dan Tae's voice. He ordered his lackey to bring me back to the depths so I was back to facing the currents. I choked so much water I thought it was the end. I didn't realize the currents brought me back to the river banks and stayed there until I was found. But Oh Yoon Hee. I swear they took her body out of the water and must have brought it back again. Whatever the reason is for doing that, I don't know but I swear Joo Dan Tae took her body that night. I heard him order one of his lackeys to take it."

Eun Byeol is crying again and Min Hyuk hugged her for the second time before she pulled herself away. "I can't take it anymore. I even saw my mother kill grandfather just to become the director."

"Wha_"

"When she killed Oh Yoon Hee, she made me see death two times!" Eun Byeol shouted and Min Hyuk hugged her for the third time. She just cried and cried and cried.

Min Hyuk, meanwhile is seething with rage. It's alright, Eun Byeol. I'm here. I'm here. You're not alone. You're not alone.
