Chapter 2: Seoul National University Entrance Exam

Eun Byeol noticed there was a brief gathering of the Hera Club, which shouldn't be a surprise to her but for some reason it did. Eun Byeol is happy that Jenny's father is there. It has been so long since he is in Dubai. Seok Hoon put his arm around Ro Na while Seok Kyung took this opportunity to taunt her. "Oh...Eun Byeol is nothing without her mommy."

Lastly, Min Hyuk came up to her. "Eun Byeol, it's nice to see you again. I'm glad you're feeling well now. That prison is rough, isn't it?" Eun Byeol smiled. Of all members of the Hera Club, Min Hyuk is the person she is excited to see. The rest is just pure awkward. "Ah...wait." He rummaged something in his bag. "Ta-da!" He handed her a pack of red ginseng drink.

"Thank you," Eun Byeol said.

"You're welcome," Min Hyuk replied. "After the exam, I was thinking we could hang out. It has been a long time now."

"Sure_"

"Eun Byeol, it's time for your exam now. Come," Ms. Jin insisted, dragging her away. 

Eun Byeol mouthed. "Sorry."

Min Hyuk responded. "Good luck."

"Good luck to you, too."

Eun Byeol was singing opera as usual, with more confidence compared to the Cheong Ah entrance exam when the phone suddenly rang, leaving her glancing to nowhere in particular. The woman there administering the exam shamelessly plunged her hand in the pocket and pulled out a phone.

"Why is there a phone in your pocket?" she demanded. Eun Byeol's eyes widened. She know the rules. No phone is allowed during the exam or else be disqualified. Eun Byeol's face paled.

"I swear...my phone is in my bag," Eun Byeol tried to explain.

"Doesn't matter. The phone is found in your pocket. You are officially disqualified from the exam," the lady said rather harshly as she gave Eun Byeol the phone. 

Clicking the button, the lock screen showed a selfie of Bae Ro Na and her mother, Oh Yoon Hee. Eun Byeol's blood boiled as she stomped at the school lobby. "BAE RO NA!"

Ro Na stared shocked at her as she slammed her phone in the table. Eun Byeol is just too emotional to think. "Why did you insert your phone on my pocket? Is this really how you want it? You should have pushed me instead!" she cried.

There was much back and forth between her, Bae Ro Na and Oh Yoon Hee and while Ro Na is disqualified now, it didn't change the fact that what was the day most prepared for was ruined by a single moment.
