"I-I don't think this is the right place to talk about that."

"Okay."

The taller girl pouted while Y/n felt a little disappointed that they wouldn't reveal the contents of their conversation. Still confused as to how Minju knew these two, Y/n decided to press for answers.

"How do you know these two, MinMin?"

"Oh, right. I didn't introduce you guys. Y/n, this is Jang Jisoo, and Jang Wonyoung. Jisoo, and Wonyoung. This is L/N, Y/n."

Jisoo bowed, "Nice to meet you."

Y/n nodded his head downward, "Likewise. Are you two siblings?"

A wide smile beamed on Wonyoung as she hugged the smaller boy.

"Yup! We're going to get married when we're older!!"

Y/n looked toward the small boy, very perturbed.

"We're not actually siblings. We just share the same last name."

"Ah..."

"Yes we are!" Wonyoung interjected.

"Don't mind her."

"So," Minju interrupted, "Where are you two headed?"

"We're on a date!" Wonyoung happily answered.

"You are?"

"Mhm! Oppa promised me that we'd go on a date if I aced our most recent test!"

"Do you have anywhere in mind?"

"We're going to eat at whatever place catches Wonyoung's eye, and then go to the park." Jisoo answered.

"Not bad."

Y/n turned his eyes to his date.

"Shall we eat, watch a movie, then hang out at the park?"

Minju nodded her head, "That sounds nice. How long are you two going to stay at the park?"

"Wonyoung ah said she wants to watch the stars, so quite late."

"Really?"

"Yeah. It's a Saturday anyway."

"Alright, so we might see each other at the park."

"Yeah. We'll see you around then."

"See ya."

Minju focused her attention back on Y/n.

"What kind of movie are we going to watch?"

"I'm not sure. Whatever sounds good when we get there?"

"I like that idea."

"Alright. Let's head off then."

"Wait."

Y/n stopped in his tracks.

"What are we waiting for?"

"We should give those two some space."

After a second of thinking, Y/n nodded, "You're right."

A few moments later, the pair continued walking along the street. A few meters ahead, the younger pair could be seen walking at a similar pace with Wonyoung bouncing at every step.

"MinMin."

"Hm?"

"Where do you want to eat?"

"Ah... Right... That's the main reason why we came out here."

"How about we go to a chicken place?"

"That doesn't sound that bad."

"Alright. Do you know where the closest chicken place is?"

"How would I know? I haven't even been in this neighborhood for a week."

"Ah," Y/n shook his head, "You should immediately know where the nearest chicken place is."

"My bad."

"I'll lead the way then."

"That's the only way we'd get there."

"You have a map in your phone, you know."

"Who says I need to use it?"

Y/n gestured with an open palm, "Okay, lead the way."

"Wait- That's not what I meant."

"You said you don't need to use it."

Minju snapped her fingers before wrapping her arm around Y/n's.

"Because you are my map."

Y/n rolled his eyes, "I think I'm going to barf."

"Aw come on! I thought of that on the fly."

"Someone with your level of intellect should be able to think of something wittier than that."

Minju pouted, "I thought that one was good..."

"I'll give you one more chance to think of something good."

"Just take me to the chicken place."

"If you say so."

As the pair walked through the streets, Minju looked at the surrounding buildings.

"This place isn't as bad as I thought it would be."

"What did you think it would be?"

"I'm not sure."

"Where did you move from?"

"I used to live in another city."

"Ah, so you thought we were a bunch of bums over here."

"No! That's not it- Oh hey, that's where those two went.."

Y/n looked at the direction Minju pointed, finding the two kids in a cafe across the street.

"Jisoo looks really unamused. A stark contrast to Wonyoung."

"Jisoo seems like the calm type. Maybe he just looks like he's not enjoying his time."

"But that's his close friend right? You'd think he'd at least look like he wants to be there."

"He could just have a resting bitch face."

"He does, but he just looks genuinely unamused. I'd feel bad to be Wonyoung."

As soon as Y/n finished his sentence, Jisoo snapped his head towards the pair making both of them jump. Minju smiled and waved as she pulled Y/n's hand, bringing him out of sight. Finally gone, Minju held her hand over her heart.

"You don't think he heard us right?"

"There's no way. I'm pretty sure that was just a coincidence. What if he thought we were someone else?"

"That's just weird."

"I think it's best to stay away from that kid. Especially since his girlfriend doesn't seem too keen on you being around him."

Minju furrowed her eyebrows, "Girlfriend?"

"They're practically dating."

"Come to think of it, I don't even know their relationship status... Jisoo didn't deny the idea of marrying Wonyoung, so there is a chance that he does like her. Maybe he's just tired of her..."

"Let's stop thinking of those two. It hurts my brain."

"Okay."
