It was glorious. The joy, the gifts. The wedding was on a low-key level but it was the happiest time of her life.
She resigned from her job and focused on her marriage. Chris's was a real estate broker so he had more than enough money to take care of her and Jane.
Allison was indeed happy about how things turned out and she knew that if she decided to suffer with Robert, she could have been dead by now.
