Together After Long

I completed my other story AnuSeena- Mere liye tum kaafi ho.

(Story note- after previous case AnuSeena got drunk (prev. ch.), Anubhav had to leave Lucknow in emergency. He could not bid bye to Haseena but left a note for her with Maa. It has been 2 months since that and Barbie Upadhay case and Santosh's Accident has happened in his absence. The affect of drug given by Barbie subsided but Santosh's Accident triggered it again, causing nightmares to HM)

At HM's Home, 8 pm.

Ammi: tu ye davai le rahi hai ya nahi (scolding)

HM: Ammi! Ammi! Shaant hojaiye apna BP mat bhadaye.

Ammi: kaise na bhadau? Jab meri beti meri hi baat nahi sunti? Tu zyada samjhdaar hai ya doctor.

HM: Ammi, Doctor ne kya kaha, ki jaise pehle hallucinations band hue ye bure sapne bhi ho jayenge apne aap. Agar hum ye dava lenge toh uske withdrawal symptoms bahot hai.

Ammi: haa toh intezaar toh kiya na do hafte, Santu ke accident ke baad? Agar Anu hota toh apne aap daat ke khila deta.

(Haseena drowns in deep thoughts, it has been 2 months but felt like many. Ammi too, gets nervous hiting the wrong topic during her sleep time. Most of her nightmares are either related to Anubhav, concerned for his safety or for her (ammi), regarding her health)

HM: Do Mahine hogaye Ammi, Na koi phone khabar...Ab humme chinta ho rahi hai.

Ammi: Pyaar hai toh fikar jayaz hai, par mujhe Anu pe pura bharosa hai...vo haar maan ne walo me se nahi...Ajayega jald hi.

Haseena hummed in response while Ammi forwarded the medicine. She shook her head and unwantingly gulped in, without arguing further. She smiled as her mother's creased forehead, straightened, feeling relieved, when she finally agreed to go on medication. Greeting her good night she left.

Haseena opened her wallet and took out Anubhav's Passport size picture. Smiling aimlessly she reminisced the incident.

Flashback

HM: chalo anu (He glares) sirr.... aap shart haare.....isliye aaj hume dinner pe lekar chaliye, koi khaas jagha jo aapko pasand ho.

AS: agar shart haarne pe ye maang uthe, toh hum aap se roz shart rakhe aur haar jaaye.

He takes a step closer and leans, resting his arm on the table, flirting. She initially glares then laughs out, relaxing after a tough case.

AS: (opens wallet and takes out a visiting card, in process something falls) ye humne ek architect ka appointment liya hai. Ye uska visiting card hai. Kripya aap isse sambhal ke rakhe. Humara durbhash bhi kharab ho gaya hai...

He wanted to renovate his house, in a mix of Maa, Ammi, her and his likings, before a new journey of his life starts with her. This gesture of him made her heart flutter, she felt special and loved by his heartwarming effort.

(Meanwhile SS enters)

SS: MS, ye lijye chargesheet file kardi Maine... (She hands it over) ab main jaaon

AS: ji

SS turns but finds a photo fallen of HM, a small but beautiful and candid one. Anubhav sees and reflexively snatches it from her keeping it back in his wallet.

SS: aap MS ki photo apne wallet me rakhte hai? (He feels a little shy but nods)
Old school hai but how cute. (She does nazar utarne waala action)

Even Haseena didn't knew this, he looks at him and smiles heartily. Santosh's presence makes her blush. Seeing them blushing, she leaves, smiling back at them.
Peeping outside, Haseena ensures no one is their and hugs him tightly. He rests his chin on her hairs and his hands rests around her waist. Leaning on her toes she kissed his forehead.
