Chapter 4: Your Real?

"Jack-Jack Frost?" I stuttered. He's real? No it can't be!

He smirked. "You seem a bit unsteady."

I tried to think of a stunning comeback like "uh huh, sure, and I'm Santa Claus" but I was lost in his clear blue gaze. His pale skin glowed in the moonlight.

"You've grown so much." He murmured.

"What are you talking about?" I backed away. "Your real?"

Jack's gaze softened. "You don't remember me?"

"I-I..."

"You don't remember me?" He repeated.

"I-I'm sorry, I don't..."

He sighed. "That's cause you were little then."

I stared at him. "Little? You knew me before... -When I was isolated? But how come I don't remember?"

He looked down. "I guess you stopped believing in me."

I instantly felt sorry for him. Being alone all those years.

I know how you feel. I thought.

The moment passed and Jack shooked his head. "You've grown up into a beautiful queen, snowflake."

"Snowflake?" Since when do people have nicknames for me?

He smirked. "I didn't know your face can turn that red."

I didn't even realize I was blushing. I quickly looked down, not wanting him to see my face.

"You should go now." My voice trembled. "Intruding the Queen's room without permission."

"But I did have permission." He pouted.

"From whom?"

"You."

I scoffed. "Since when?"

He stopped floating. "Since I became your guardian."

"I don't need a guardian thank you very much."

Jack shrugged. "Well seems like you do snowflake."

Snowflake... Why does that name sound so familiar..?

Suddenly everything went black and I was plunged into a whirlpool of memories...
