Chapter 28.

Hawks' POV

I fly towards my apartment after everything.
"I doubt Touya will ever talk to me..."
I glide down to my porch, landing I walk over and opened the porch door, closing it behind me. I take off my coat and soon flops onto the bed.
"Why did this have to happen..."
I turn to me side.
"I guess I truly can't be close to anyone anymore..."
I close my eyes, but suddenly heard a thud, wincing I sit up, getting off my bed, I soon look around and that's when I see Toga.
"Toga?"
"How did you-"
Before I could finish she tries attacking me, dodging each attack she attempts.
"Wow hey calm down-"
She cuts me off.
"YOU HURT DABS!"
"NOW DIE!"
She keeps at it and eventually I pin her with my feathers to a wall.
"AHAAAA!"
I watch her as she tries to escape.
"I'll let you go if you calm down?" I say.
She stops and glares at me.
"WHY SHOULD I CALM DOWN TO THE MAN WHO HURT DABS!" she huffs, I sigh.
"I didn't hurt him-" she cuts me off again, "LIAR!"
I groan.
"Why would you think I did!?" I shout.
"BECAUSE DABS WAS CRYING!" she shouts back, causing me to wince.
"He was crying..."
She starts to get back to trying to escape so I let her go and she immediately jumped me, nearly stabbing me.
"Why you miss?" I asked.
She looks at me soon tears drop on face.
"Dabs loves you and you just..." she cries. I look aside.
"It wasn't me...it was the hero commission..." I told, her eyes widened.
"What!" she says shocked, I look back at her.
"I didn't rat Tou-Dabi out..." I stated, she looks away then back.
"Are you positive?" she asked, I nod. She soon pulls herself off of me, I sit up. I look down.
"So he still has feelings for me..."
I slight smiled.
Toga groans frustrated.
"WHY!" she shouts, I turn to her.
"Huh?" I say.
"WHY DID THE HERO COMMISSION DO THIS!?" she demanded, I look away.
"Because I'm still they're property..." I mumbled. Toga stabs the floor, I look over at her then down.
"Can I see Dabi?" I asked, she stopped and stared at me.
"I don't know if that's a good idea?" she says, looking up, I sigh.
"I guess..."
"BUT MAYBE IT IS!" she shouts with a smile, I blink.
"You think so?" I asked.
Her smile grew.
"She definitely has a plan in mind now!"
I watched as Toga jumps up and runs to the window, I blinked.
"Is that how she got in?"
She flips and I heard a thud, flinching I soon heard.
"I'M OKAY!"
I sigh in relief.
Popping at the window.
"Wait here!" she says.
I blink.
"What is she?"
"Oh!"
"NO NO NO!"
"TOGA WAIT!"
But she was already gone, I sigh, looking down.
"Jeez..."

(Later)

I stood in my kitchen, trying to eat but my nerves wouldn't let me. I groan and as I did I suddenly heard Toga, flinching I turn over.
"BIRDY I GOT HIM!"
Blinking as I watched Toga dragged Touya out of the Kuroguri's portal into my living room.
"COME ON DABS, YOU'RE VERY HEAVY!"
I heard Toga.
Getting up, walking to them I pick out one of my small feathers and flow over and dragged Touya up to his feet. He soon set it on fire, I winced.
He glares at me, we lock eyes.
"Tou-"
"It's Dabi!" he said cutting me off, I look down.
"Dabi...I wanted to say sorry...the hero commission tracked me-"
"Bull crap!" he says, caused my to flinch and me soon grabbing his collar.
"LISTEN! I DIDN'T RAT YOU OUT! I WAS TRACKED BECAUSE I AM THE HERO COMMISSIONS PROPERTY AND DIDN'T WANT ME TO GET CLOSE TO ANYONE SO THEY SENT ENDEAVOR OVER TO MAKE SURE WE'RE ONLY COMRADES!" I yelled with tears in my eyes, he didn't flinch out anything.
"You done?" he just says and I groan frustrated, "NO I'M NOT! CAN'T YOU SEE I'M STILL IN LOVE WITH YOU AND I CAN'T STOP THINKING ABOUT-" he cuts me off, "Just stop..."
My eyes widened as I let go of him and stepped away.
"So I was right..."
I look down and my wings dropped to the floor. Toga looks at me then Dabi.
"Dabs-"
He glares at her and says.
"Leave us alone Toga..."
Toga eyes widened and she smiles and runs into the portal as it disappears.

Dabi's POV

I look at Keigo, I step over to him and soon takes his face, forcing him to look up at me.
"Keigo...I thank you..." I said, which made him flinch.
"You helped me realize somethings...that I truly needed..." I added.
He looks aside.
"You don't need to say anything...you've said enough already..." I say. He blink and turned to me.
"What?" he says, I slightly smile.
"I believe you...the hero commission...I know you were sales to them..." I said. He winced, "How?" he asked.
"I have my ways Birdie~" I say, he blushes. I lean closer and kissed his forehead.

"But for now, I think we couldn't be a couple..."

"Alright..."
