"No, I usually take the bus."

"Well, you don't have to tonight!" Georgia almost shouts, earning glares from people walking down the street as we exit the salon. "You'll come with us!"

"Okay, but we'll have to stop off and pick up my son. I usually do that on my way home."

"I'm fine with that. He's adorable so getting to see him again wouldn't be a burden!" I smiled.

"I only work here a couple days out of the week for a few hours, and I miss him every time I drop him off at Carter's parents house."

"I can't believe you're still with Carter! You two started dating just after we started high school."

"Yeah, it's been nearly eight years. Our wedding is actually on the day we started dating."

"That's so cute!" I smiled as we stopped at my car. We all piled in and I followed Maggie's directions to go pick up her son.

When we got there, she got out of the car telling us she'd only be five minutes.

"Gosh, I missed her," Georgia sighed. "I missed everything here, actually. I don't regret leaving but I think it was wrong of me to pack up my life and move across the world."

"I know. It was so tough on us. But you only moved, its not as if something worse happened to you like it did to our parents."

"Charli..."

"Georgia, I'm sorry. I didn't mean... I'm glad you're here now."

Maggie came out of the house holding a car seat. She opened the rear door and strapped it in, and ran around to the other side of the car and hopped in.

"So I know this may sound strange, but any chance we can go to Yates? Carter hates it, and I've had the biggest craving to go there," Maggie asked.

I couldn't help but laugh, thinking back to the last time I went with Brooke to when I first met Michael. She seemed so flirty with him, and it was completely out of character for her. I'll have to bring that up sometime soon.

"Charli?" Georgia's voice spoke softly, pulling me out of my thoughts. "Can we get going?"

"Yeah, sorry!"

We made it to Yates, quickly piling in the restaurant. I couldn't see Michael's fire red hair from where we were sitting, so I wasn't sure if he was working tonight.

"Is there anyone in your life? I know you said you were with someone when you were in Canada, are you two still together?"

"No, we broke up a couple months ago."

"Oh, that's too bad."

"But then there's Niall-" I started, but was cut off.

"Charli..."

"Georgia..." I smirked at her. "You can tell Maggie about him. She's not going to judge you."

"Who is Niall?" Maggie perked up.

"He's my friend, who Georgie over her is quite smitten with," I pointed at the blushing brunette beside me. "But it's a mutual thing they have going on. It's quite cute if you ask me."

"Please don't ask her," Georgia begged.

We spent almost two hours at Yates with Maggie and her son Brighton. He's almost six months old, and he's one of the cutest babies I've ever seen.

I am usually iffy about holding babies up until they're a year old, because they can fully support their heads and such. But something about him drew me to him, and I couldn't help but want to cuddle him all night. Georgia and I fought over who got to hold him, with her winning most of the time.
