Chapter 17

Lila was tapping her foot impatiently as she barely listened to whatever the others were talking about.

She didn't know or like the looks, they were getting from the students here but she chose to ignore them. 'It's a private school for royals and nobles or whatever. It's bound to be full of snobs' she rolled her eyes.

She looked around and saw the table that Nino and the blonde guy Marinette brought along we're sitting at with two other cute looking guys.

She smiled to herself. This would be the perfect time to sway the blonde to her side.

She told the others that she would be back in a minute and began to make her way over to the table that the 4 guys were sitting at.

They seemed to notice her and stopped whatever conversation they were having.

"Hey" she greeted cheerfully as she sat between Felix and Nino causing Nino to have to shift to the side.

"What the hell Lila?" Said Nino. She ignored him.

"We haven't properly met. My name is Lila Rossi. I'm sure you've heard of me" she said fluttering her eyelashes at the blonde.

"Yes I have heard of you" he replied. Lila smiled at this.

"I've heard nothing but bad things about you from Mari," Felix said bluntly as he scooted away from the girl. Wei and Shi chuckled.

"What? You do know that she's a liar right? Marinette has bullied me ever since I joined the school. I'm not sure why she hates me even though I try to be her friend. I know she likes to design. I've even told her that my connections to the celebrities I know can make her big and famous too!"

Felix looked at the girl in disbelief. People really believed the kids that would spew out of this girls mouth.

"Look Lila, Felix ain't buying your crap so get lost," Nino growled. Lila glared at him.

"I wasn't talking to you" she spat. She turned her gaze back to Felix with a flirty look.

"She's a really bad person y'know. She's messing with your head with her lies"

"I believe that it's you who has created - no, in fact, shown how mindless that class of yours is? I however am smarter than you may think. I have also known Mari for a long time. And trust me" Felix said with a smirk. "She is not someone you want to mess with"

Lila scoffed. "I can destroy her with one phone call to any of my connections. I could call my honorary uncle, Jagged Stone, to make sure that no one hires her as a designer because of how much of a horrible person she is!"

Now all four boys were laughing at her. Lika was a bit confused why the other two were laughing like they understood what she said.

"What are you laughing at? And those two" she said pointing at Wei and Shi. "And them. They don't even understand me"

"Tā bù zhīdào wǒmen dǒng fǎyǔ (she doesn't know that we know french) Shi chuckled not the slightest bit bothered by Lila's insult towards them.

"Tā hěn kělián. Tā bù zhīdào nǐ shì shéi ma? (she's pathetic. does she not know who you are?) Wei asked

"Xiǎnrán bùshì (clearly not)" Felix replied. Lila looked shocked when he started speaking another language.

"Nǐ zhīdào de, tā shēngchēng jǐ nián qián nǐ céng duì tā biǎodáguò nǐ duì tā bùxiǔ de ài (you know' she made claims that you proclaimed your undying love for her a few years ago) said Nino who had a large grin on his face as he chuckled through his teeth. Shi and Wei looked like teenage girls laughing behind their hands
