~Chapter Seven~

*Lily's POV*

*Two days later*

I miss my parents so much. We're going to get them today! I just don't know what we're going to say... or what they're going to say.

We have a small camp on a island far from civilization. It's really cool.

We found out that Claire can make buildings and furniture with her Earth power! So now we have a small house each. We even made houses for our parents... If they come with us.

"Lily let's go!" Emma yells pounding on my door.

"I'm coming!" I yell putting on my leather boots and jacket.

I've been turning us into mermaids to get from our island back to home.

We've seen our parents, but they never see us. Thanks to Emma, otherwise we would be in more danger.

We go down to earth he beach and into the water, then I change us back to mermaids.

We swim for four hours without stoping to get back home.

We walked down our streets to our houses. When we passed Emma's old house, it was rebuilt with a new family in it.

A tear fell down Emma's check and she quickly wiped it off. We never show emotions in front of other people then ourselves so they can't use it against us.

We stop at Brooklyn's house first.

We knock on the door and a red eyed women answers the door.

"Hey mum." Brooklyn says crying.

"Brooke!" Her mom yells and throws her arms around her.

"George get down here quick!" Her mom yells smiling and crying.

"What is- Brooke!" Her dad yells and grabs her into a hug.

"Dad!" She says crying.

"Where have you been we've been worried sick!" Her mom says smiling in joy and when her eyes lay on Emma she cry's more.

"Honey your parents..." Brooklyn's mom says and Emma's starts crying.

"I know I was there!" She yells and starts crying like crazy.

"Honey it's okay." Brooklyn's mom says calmly.

"Mom, Dad we ned to go now." Brooklyn says.

"Why on Earth-" her dad begins.

Brooklyn looks at us and we nod.

"This might seem crazy but we have special powers." Brooklyn starts.

Her dad starts laughing and we look at him sternly.

"I'll prove it." I say.

I think of a rabbit and instantly turn into one.

"Oh my!" Brooklyn's parents yell!

"The people who destroyed my house and killed my parents have unique powers like us." Emma says.

"Thats why we need to go." I say turning back to normal.

"Ok." her mom says looking like she's going to faint.

"So... um.... let's go..." her dad says.

"Go pack as much food, blankets, pillows, clothes, personal possessions you can carry and get it in the car! Remember only what you can carry!" Brooklyn says going to the kitchen to start getting food.

*5 minutes later*

Once Brooklyn's family was done we got into their van and drove to my house and the same thing happened, crying, proving, story, packing, next house. it was like that until we finally made it to the beach.

"I'm glad you put your things in coolers!" Janelle says staying close to her parents.

"Why are we at the beach?" My dad asks.

"This is even more crazy..." Claire says.

"How can this get more crazy?" Claire's mom asks.

"Bring all your stuff to the water and swim out with us!" Emma yells.

"We're using the coolers as floatation devices." I add.

They all nod in confusion and grab their stuff and swim out with us.

"Now what?" Our parents ask while they hold onto the coolers.

My friends look at me and I nod.

I turn the five of us into mermaids and our parents gasp.

"Your turn!" Brooklyn says smiling.

"No, no, no!" The parents yell.

"To late!" Emma yells back and a look of horror crosses their faces and they look down.

"Don't scream you'll draw attention to us!" Claire yells at them.

"Now what?" My mom asks.

"Now we swim." the five of us say.
