I nodded, though I'm still surprised from everything. This is a great revelation for me! I can't believe it. Kung hindi pa kinuwento ni Aphro sa akin ang clan niya, baka iisipin ko pang nagsisinungaling lang sila sa akin.

I bit my lower lip as I realized something. Napapikit ako nang mariin. Damn. I got jealous for nothing! Yes. I was jealous to Aphrodite and now they would say thay they're only cousins?! Goodness!

I should've done an investigation kung sila ba talaga. I shouldn't have drawn an early conclusion and planned to leave! Hindi sana ako magmumukang tanga ngayon! Napaka-bobo ko sa part na 'to!

"Pero Ashka, I still can't absorb the fact that you're with Lauren. I mean, he's the father of Astraea! Hindi ako makapaniwala! How come?"

Napatitig ako kay Aphro saka ngumuso.

"We had sex."

"Obviously!" umirap siya. "Ang ibig kong sabihin, paano nangyari? Did you both have a relationship then? Or one night stand?"

"He's my ex."

"Ex?" naningkit ang mga mata niya.

I nodded.

"Ex-boyfriend." something came inside my mind. Leo said we never broke up. Pero alam ko sa sarili kong doon parin ang tungo no'n. Humugot ako nang malalim na hininga. "And you, I never thought you're his cousin. I mean..."

"Yeah. Same thought." she smirked. "I really want to have a bond with you today. Pero I have some business to attend, e. Let's schedule a date tomorrow! Are you free?"

Sa gilid ng aking mata, nakita ko si Leo na papalapit sa banda namin. Katatapos lang nilang dalawa mag-shoot para sa gagawing ad ng business ni Leo. Hindi ko nga alam na ang dami niya pa palang negosyo dito at overseas.

"Wala naman akong ginagawa masyado so..." tumango ako. "Tomorrow, then. After naming ihatid si Asren sa school."

Nagngiting aso naman si Aphro sa akin lalo na nang makita si Leo na patungo sa gawi namin.

"Nasa iisang bahay na kayo! What? You're planning to settle down already? For Asren's sake? Inaya ka na bang magpakasal?"

Namilog ang mga mata ko sa sinabi ni Aphro. My chest hurts for the loud bang. Tumibok ito nang mabilis na halos mawasak na ang ilalim na parte ng katawan ko.

"Nope..." umiling ako. I feel something that makes me uncomfortable. I feel disappointed for something. "Too early for that and... I don't know."

I sighed and lifted my head to see her reaction. She only smirked.

"Sorry to interrupt you, girls. Nicks," si Leo. "Susunduin pa namin si Astraea so..."

"It's okay! It's okay!" natutuwang sabi ni Aphro saka pumalakpak. "Go on! Aalis na rin ako later. Bye guys, have fun! Lauren, 'yong sinabi ko sa'yo!" pagalit niyang sabi ni Leo.

Kumunot ang noo ko. Natawa naman si Leo sa aking gilid. I got curious but I didn't ask them. Nauna akong lumabas sa studio'ng iyon. After what Aphrodite said earlier, I felt so uncomfortable especially when looking at Leo.

"Ano'ng pinag-usapan niyo kanina?" Leo asked while starting the engine of his car.

I shook my head and looked straight on the parking lot.
