Chapter 23

"Does it still hurt?"

The rain stopped. Now we're walking together towards the Mansion while holding hands. Napangisi ako habang inaalala ulit ang nangyari. Medyo mahapdi pa ang banda roon pero makakaya naman.

I feel like I can't walk anymore after that two wild sessions. However, Leo is here to guide me to walk, slowly but straight. My hands were still trembling but I managed to make it. Medyo paika-ika pa ang lakad ko, uminit ang aking pisngi.

"It's bearable," I said.

Dumating kami sa bahay nila at unti-unti na namang nawawala ang hapdi pero may konting kirot parin sa banda roon. Leo gently caressed my hand as we entered their house. And we both got shocked when we saw the scene inside.

Napunta ang paningin ko kay Tita Via. Pilit parin siyang pinapatahan ni Senyor. Kumunot ang noo ko. What exactly has happened? I am so confused about what is happening!
