Chapter 28

My parents are out for the next two days. Y/N looks at me scared. The bedroom door swings open and Reese and Ryan run in.

"Who's downstairs?!" Ryan whisper yells.

"I don't know." I say getting up.

"You all stay here." I tell them all.

Reese runs to Y/N.

"Zach don't go down there are you crazy?!" Y/N whisper yells.

I start to walk downstairs. I walk to where the bang was and see Jack.

"It's okay!" I yell upstairs.

"Hey man." Jack smiles.

"What are you doing here?" I ask him.

"Wanted to come and say hi." Jack smiles.

Y/N, Reese and Ryan come downstairs.

"What the hell?" Y/N says looking at Jack.

"Hey Y/N." Jack smiles.

"Jack?" Ryan says shaking his head in confusion.

"Hey fam, didn't mean to scare you all." Jack chuckles.

Everyone talks for a while when Y/N takes Reese up to bed but never came back.

"Where is she?" Jack asks.

"I don't know." I answer.

Ryan comes downstairs.

"Found her, she's sleeping in Reese's room with Reese." Ryan says.

"Okay." I say.

"I'm going to bed." Ryan says.

"Night." We yell at each other.

"What the hell where you thinking breaking into my house?" I ask Jack getting us drinks.

"Well I didn't think Y/N was here." Jack says.

"Dude her car is in the driveway." I chuckle.

"Anyho, you never told me how last night went." Jack asks as he sits down.

"I'm not telling you." I say trying to hide a smile.

"You had fun don't try and lie to me." Jack nudges me as I sit down.

"Look I had fun okay." I say.

"Tell me." He says smiling again.

"Jack please." I say shaking my head.

"Did you kiss?" Jack asks.

"No." I say.

"Did you even try?" Jack says shaking his head.

"No I didn't, she didn't even think it was a date." I say.

"Did she tell you that?" Jack asks.

"Well no but I mean I never really specified it was a date." I say shaking my head.

"Zach your not gonna get anywhere." He sakes his head.

"Well I have another hangout on Saturday night." I say to him.

He looks at me surprised.

"That's my boy!" Jack laughs.

Someone starts to walk downstairs so we stop our talking.

"Remind me never to fall asleep in Reese's bed again." Y/N laughs as she sleepily walks down the stairs.

"Oh why's that?" I chuckle at her sleepiness.

"She woke me up." She tries to walk past me and I pull her to me.

"Sleep." She whispers, laying my head on shoulder and wraps her arms around me.

"How did she wake you up?" Jack laughs.

"She stole the blankets and pushed me off the bed." Y/N laughs.

I feel her eyelashes flutter shut against my neck making me smile down at her.

"You can't sleep standing up." He laughs.

"Watch me." She says almost at a whisper.

I chuckle and pick her up from her feet.

"Bed time for you." I chuckle.

I carry her up the stairs and to the guest bedroom. I lay her down in the bed and cover her up.

"Goodnight beautiful." I smile.

She mumbles Goodnight before I turn the light off and leave the room. I then walks downstairs and go back to Jack.
