Chapter 14

Anna's POV

"Okay so Parker wanted to get you a gift. For your birthday." Riley said as she sat on my bed.

"Ooh what is it??" I said and she laughed.

She grabbed her bag and pulled out a gift.

"From Parker." She said giving me the box.

It was wrapped in confetti wrapping paper and a bow on top.

I opened the box and there was a ton of things.

"Oh my god..." I whispered.

"I think he went a little too far." I said as she laughed.

I pulled out and there was a pack of Pokémon cards and a ton of gift cards. There was a couple of dollar bills and a ton of candy.

"Oh my god." I said laughing.

"How many gift cards are there?" I asked.

"About 7 or 8" she said and my eyes widened.

"This is wayyy to much." I said and she smiled.

"Parker is a little extra." She said making me laugh.

She leaned against me as I wrapped my arms from under hers.

"Happy Birthday." She whispered.

"Thanks." I said.

"Oh and that's just a Parker's gift." She said and I looked down.

"Your getting a gift from me." she whispered.

"Oh really." I said and she giggled.

She made me laid down and put her head on my chest.

"Okay so I planned something. And I think you might like it." She said while I was playing with her hair.

"Wait what are you planning?" I asked and she looked at me.

"It's a surprise. Obviously." She said as I laughed.

We were in this position for what felt like awhile and I felt a little tired. I could tell Riley was too.

Ever since she had that big panic attack at the soccer game she's hasn't been sleeping.

"Okay let's go." She said getting off of me.

I checked and the time was 5 we got up and got dressed.

She let me steal some of her sweatshirts from her closet. So I wore her light blue one and out on a pair of jeans.

She was already dressed and downstairs.

"Hey wait you wanna bring Harley?" I asked and she looked at me.

"You wanna bring Harley?" She asked in surprise.

"Yeah. She can have fun with whatever we're doing." I said and she smiled.

She got Harley'a harness as I got my keys.

It was quite a long drive to get there but when we got there I knew immediately where we was.

"Is this the carnival?" I asked and she nodded.

"IVE BEEN TRYING TO GET INTO ONE OF THESE FOR MONTHS!" I yelled and she laughed.

She grabbed my hand and Harley followed us as we got in.

"Oh my god..." I whispered.

There were bright lights and there was rollercoaster rides and games all around.
