Bonus Chapter 1

This bonus chapter starts after a few months from the epilogue.

Beside, I sincerely apologise for the late update and guys, please do tell me if you liked the chapter in the comments. I don't know but people don't seem to comment now a days.

Ps. I wasted 15 minutes deciding if I should publish it or not because damn! I was so nervous and almost close to get a panick attack🙃

The clock striked eight in morning as Manik turned around on his stomach still in sleep and dreaming. The dream as beautiful as his reality or maybe even more beautiful than it with Him, Nandini and their little baby. A wide smile crept on his face as he extended his hand on the bed to hold Nandini but frowned when he found the other side empty.

Manik: Nandini!

He called out with without opening his eyes thinking she might be in the room getting ready but then, the room was unusually silent. Even her bangles didn't chim in the background like everyday.

Opening his eyes the next moment, he scanned the whole room only to find it empty. The bathroom door latched and his tea which had turned cold by now on the side table.

Even the curtains were undone and it only meant Nandini had tried to wake him up sometime back when he was feeling too sleepy to even hear her.

Mentally cursing himself for not listening to her, he walked out of the room to search for her.

Niyonika was in the hall checking on some work when her eyes fell on Manik who was walking out of his room, barefoot with messy bed hair. She chuckled knowing the reason behind his messed up state very well.

Niyonika: Manik bacha, Kya hua?

She asked even though she knew her dear daughter was the reason behind the frown on her son's face. She had to press his lips together in order to not to laugh out loud at his expression which indicated he clearly was in no mood of joke.

Manik: Maa! Nandini kahan hai?

Manik was beyond irritated. She knows, she very well knows that he needs her in the morning, even before his bed tea but no, Nandini Manik Malhotra loved testing his patience.

He should probably tie her up and lock her somewhere. Yes, this was the best idea.

Before Manik could finalize his extremely wonderful idea, Niyonika spoke grabbing his attention.

Niyonika: Nandini has already left for Murty Mansion, Manik. Abhi and Arya-

Manik's face fell even before she could complete her sentence. Probably, this is what Nandini was worried for. She didn't even want to go like that, with him still sleeping but when Aryaman and Abhimanyu literally dragged her with them, she had no other choice.

Niyonika: Manik, Nandini toh jana he nahi chahti thi par tum jaante ho na, Shaadi ka mahual hai. Nandini ki zarorat hai vahan. Infact hume bhi toh vahan pohnchna hai kuch ghanto mei, you go get ready.

Manik, though visibly upset, smiled at her and walked away. He though understood but then how could he compromise when it came to his wife's time? He agreed her brothers were getting engaged today and they needed her, but what about him?

He was upset and he wasn't going to talk to her. He was adamant.

Mukti: Maa! See na, Bhai is going to office.

Mukti whined loudly as she saw Manik coming out of his room in formals, all ready to leave. Manik stared at her in anger but it didn't really scare her at all. She had promised her Bhabhi not to let her brother go office today.
