Tazhaneia's POV
She looked at me with a hint of surprised on her face.
Even though I felt confused, I ignored it and focused myself at the food in front of me.
The room falls into silence as I keep on eating.
Nay Linda didn't say any word as she clean up the pots and pans at the sink.
“Tazhaneia,matanong ko nga pala kung nagkita na kayo ng mga magulang ni Alpha.” She broke the silence as she glanced at me.
I shook my head. “Hindi pa po.”
“Alam mo ba. Simula nong umalis ang mga magulang ni Alpha sa mansion na ito ay wala na ding mga tauhan ang naglalagi dito.” She stated.
I became curious about it.
She looked at me and she did probably read my thoughts and spoke.
“Umalis ang mga magulang niya para asikasuhin ang ibang bagay. At ikaw, ikaw ang pinakaunang nakasama niya dito simula nang lumipat sa bagong tirahan ang dating Luna at Alpha.” That makes me stunned. I didn't knew that, and I didn't expected that either.
“Talaga po?”
“Oo.” She smiled widely at me. “At ngayong nandito ka na. Natitiyak ko ding muling magkakabuhay ang tahimik na mansyong ito.” She added.
My heart leap in joy at what she have said.
“Ikaw ang makakasama niya upang pangalagaan ang pack.” She paused for a couple of seconds before she spoke again.
“Alam kong iniisip mo na may beta naman siyang kasama. Nandiyan si Beta Oz, pero alam naman nating pareho na kailangan din ng isang Alpha nang makakasama sa buhay...at ikaw 'yon.”
Am I deserving to be a Luna?
“Pero...hindi ko po alam kong kaya ko ngang punan ang responsibilidad ng pagiging Luna..... There's a lot of she-wolves out there, na mas karapat-dapat pa kumpara sa akin.” I looked down.
She gave me a comforting look as she went near me.
“Ikaw ang pinili ng Diyosa ng Buwan. Hindi siya kailanman magkakamali. Pinili ka niya dahil alam niya ang kakayahan mo, alam niyang kaya mo. Ikaw ang pinili niya dahil ikaw ang karapat-dapat sa pagiging Luna...Tandaan mo 'yan.” I looked up and then looked away afterwards.
My mind is filled with uncountable thoughts. Imagining myself with Roshaun, leading this pack. Keeping this pack safe and worth living.However,I have doubts within me. Doubting myself if I could fullfil my responsibilities and all.
How could a monster like me lead this pack?
Instead of keeping them safe,I might brought sinister and might be the reason of their downfall, and I don't want that to happen.
“Tazhaneia,ayos ka lang ba?.” Nay Linda spoke which makes me take away myself from thinking.
“Opo.” I stated.
I turned my gaze at the plate and realized that I had eaten all the pieces of pancakes and had consumed it all.
She looked at my plate and smiled widely.
“Mukhang hindi naman halatang gutom ka Tazhaneia.” She jokingly said. I laughed a little and she joined me in.
I had realized that she's the first person which makes me laugh aside from my mate.
