This was requested by LadyThylacine! Sorry it took so long, but I hope you all like it!

"Edgar, I'm finished!" Holding up the crayon drawing, you smiled at you friend, Edgar. Though he's dark as the night, you've always liked having him around. He would comfort you when your parents would fight and he would fight away any scary monsters. You've hardly heard him speak, but that doesn't bother you. You especially liked it when he would hum a song to help you sleep. Looking up at the sound of sobbing, you knew it was your mother. Your parents probably got into a fight again. Frowning, you slid the paper to him to let him draw what he wanted.

"I don't want to be here anymore." You whimpered, "I don't like the fighting and that strange man with the white coat is coming here almost everyday. I don't like him either."

Looking at at Edgar as you felt him pat your head, you leaned against him for comfort. Smiling again as he held up a bracelet that had (F/C) beads in the shape of flowers.

"It's so pretty. Thank you, Edgar." You cheered, letting him tie it around your wrists, "Are you done with the picture?"

Watching him nod and slide the paper back, you gasped at the garden he made. They sky was black with many stars and the flowers around the two of you seemed to be glowing.

"Is this your home?" You asked, earning a nod from him, "Can I go there one day?"

Watching his white eyes widen with a smile he nodded, "Stay with me."

"You want me to go with you and stay with you?" You giggled, having become an expert at guessing what he wanted, "Okay. Oh, We have to wait until I grow up. I don't want mommy and daddy to be sad."

Hearing the screaming again, you grimace when you heard the footsteps stomping towards you.

"(Y/N) is only eight." You heard your mother scream before your door was slammed open by the doctor. He scanned you with a glare. Looking over at Edgar, you knew he wouldn't be able to help you against grown ups. He can't touch them, though you never asked why.

"I've had enough of this little child." The man growled lunging for you, making you scream, "We are getting rid of the demon if it's the last thing I do."

Time skip 10 Years later

"Do I really have to  stay here for the night?" You growled, looking up at your old house. Years ago, your parents had moved into a different house across town, but kept this house. You didn't care enough to ask. After they let that doctor attack you for no reason, you don't care what they think.

"It's just so we can finally move stuff out of there and sell it." Your mother explained parking in front of the house. Rolling your eyes, you grabbed your bag of clothes for the night and went in. Wiggling your nose when you smelt all the dust.

"I'm going to get started in my old room then." You grumbled, not even waiting for your parents to answer.

Slipping into the room, it was just as you were forced to leave it. Everything from the small bed to the old TV, and the paint. Looks like you'll be staying in the living room. Opening an old wooden chest at the end of the bed, you began sorting through the drawings and clothes. Pausing when you saw a black jewelry box. You definitely don't remember this.

Opening it, you gasped at the cute bracelet inside. Some of the beads were arranged into beautiful flowers. It makes you wonder why you don't remember it. It's to small for you to wear now, but surely you have something. Looking around, you grinned when you found some longer string. You might not be able to wear it like a bracelet now, but you could make it a necklace. Fixing it, you smiled as you tied it around your neck. Nearly shivering at how cold it felt, but it was oddly comforting.
