Chapter 27

Autumn's POV

"Are you okay baby?"

Nag aalalang tanong ko kay Kaynee dahil almost 20 minutes na itong ngumingiti ng mag isa kahit wala naman siyang nakikitang makakapag pangiti sa kanya.

I know watching the stars can make her smile pero iba yung ngiti niya ngayon.

Nandito kasi kaming dalawa sa lugar kung saan ko siya unang niyaya o mas tamang sabihing "sinabi" kong magpakasal siya sakin.

She's still wearing her gown at nakasuot na siya ng coat ko dahil sa lamig. Nakahiga lang kami sa hood ng kotse ko.

"I'm happy."

Ngumiti ako ng hawakan niya ang kamay ko at ilagay iyon sa pisngi niya habang nakatingin sa mata ko.

"I'm happy because we gave each other a chance. I'm happy because of you, baby."

She called me baby!

Tinawag niya ako sa endearment ko sa kanya!

*Tsup*

"Stop teasing me baby. If you say it again I might do it here with you."

Sumimangot siya pero tumawa din naman at linapit pa ang katawan niya sa katawan ko.

"We can do it here you know? And I'll gladly be on top."

Bulong niya at kinagat pa talaga ng mahina ang tenga ko sabay haplos "doon".

She's clearly teasing me!

"I...c..can wait.."

Putol na bulong ko kaya tumawa siya at sumandal sa katawan ko, niyakap ko naman siya.

"Thank you so much for everything, Autumn."

Mahina kong sinusuklay ang buhok niya habang maya't maya ang pagbigay ng halik sa noo at buhok niya. I love her smell.

"I should be the one thanking you, Kaynee. Mula ng binigyan mo ako ng panyo noon lagi na kitang tinitignan and I know I'm the biggest  jerk because I've done those mistakes at wala akong pwedeng sabihing excuse para mawala iyon."

"I'm thankful dahil binigay ka niya sakin. He gave me an angel like you. You saved me, Kaynee. You saved me from the sadness and loneliness."

"You are my home, Kaynee. You are my life."

Naramdaman ko ang pag higpit ng yakap niya sa akin at ang mahinang pagtawa niya.

"I'm so lucky to have you, Autumn. I'm so lucky and I can't wait to be your wife. We'll live happily with Aurora. I promise, I'll be a good wife to you and a good mother to our daughter."

We both silently took our time enjoying the cold breeze of air and a magnificent view of the stars shinning above us with the moon as our light.

Cherishing the long silence that enveloped us, thinking about our future with a smile plastered on our faces.

I'm sure, without a doubt. This woman is my soulmate. She is the only one.

I promise to live the rest of my life with her and our child.

I wipe my tears as I smile and watch her walk with her parents wearing a beautiful wedding gown.

We lovingly stare at each other, savoring the moment that we both dreamed about.
