Chapter 15

Kith's POV

4 years.

It's been four years and I am here again in front of the hospital where she works, holding the hand of her innocent bubbly little angel.

"Papa! Mom's inside, can I already go so I could give cookies to the patients?"

Ngumiti ako at tumango kaya lumapit na ito sa security guard at binigyan iyon ng isang box na cookies.

"Good morning Mr. Maggles! Cookies for you!"

The security guard laugh and tap her head lightly.

"Good morning dear Aurora! Thank you for the cookies, have a great day!"

Pumasok na si Aurora sa hospital kaya sumunod na din ako sa kanya.

I smiled as I watched how she smile everytime she hand those boxes of cookies to the patients that her eyes lands on.

"Good morning Mrs. Rockets! Here's a box of cookies to make your day extra special! I really liked your storytelling, can we do it again later?"

What?

Mrs. R...Rockets?

Tinitigan ko ng maigi ang kausap niya pero hindi ko maalala kung saan ko siya nakita.

"Thank you so much my dear Aurora, my day is already special because I got to meet a beautiful angel like you. You really remind me of my grandson."

Lalapit pa sana ako sa kanila pero natigilan ako dahil sa babaeng humawak sa balikat ng pasyenteng kausap ni Aurora.

"Let's go back to your room Lola. Everybody's waiting for your decision."

I..it's S.. Springheart. Yung babaeng kasama ni Autumn ng magkasabay kaming apat sa iisang restaurant.

"Papa! Let's go to Mommy's office, I missed her already."

Naguguluhan man ay sumang ayon na lang ako sa kanya at hinawakan ang kamay niya tsaka tumungo sa office.

"Good morning Mommy! Here's a box of cookies for you! I missed you so much!"

Tila nabuhayan naman si Summer ng marinig ang boses ni Aurora, bumuntong hininga na lang ako dahil tiyak wala na naman itong tulog buong gabi.

"I miss you so much my angel, you're my strength thank you for coming here. Kumain ka na ba?"

Tumango naman ng sunod sunod si Aurora at tinuro ako.

"Papa cooked for me and Mama Shakira helped me bakes this cookies, and I played with Hash earlier but he's not with us because Mama Shakira said she'll bring him with her."

Ng mgtama ang mata naming dalawa ay yumuko lang ito bago ngumiti at humalik sa pisngi ni Aurora.

"Why don't you play with your puzzle over there for a while honey? Your Papa and I will talk, is that okay with you?"

Kunwari pang nag isip si Aurora bago tumango at umupo sa sofa. Bumalik naman sa swiveling chair si Summer. Yes, I am calling her Summer, hindi ko na siya tinatawag sa kung ano anong nickname ko sa kanya.

"I saw that woman earlier. Did you know that?"

Umiwas siya ng tingin at huminga ng malalim.

"I know. Autumn's grandmother is sick as well as his mother. A week ago dumating dito si Granny, she have alzheimer and Autumn's mother arrived early this morning and she have cancer. Both of them are here but I didn't got the chance to go near them because I am busy with my patients and I don't know how to face them."
