Chapter 1: I am betrayed

Percy Pov

Me and Annabeth strolled down the path leading towards the Aphrodite Cabin. "Oh, but come on, you know I can't clean my cabin!" I said exasperatedly.  See, it was a Cabin Inspection Day, but I forgot it was today, and well.... Here we are.... "No Percy, just because you're my boyfriend doesn't mean you get special treatment." Said Annabeth "But that-." I was cut off as a scream echoed through the Pines. "The Border. "Me and Annabeth said in unison. We ran off towards Thalia's Pine. "You stay at the border Annabeth, make sure there aren't any intruder's, okay?" I said "Okay, just. Go" said Annabeth as she hurried me off. I ran as fast as I could towards the tree, and as I reached it, I noticed a small figure, followed by 4 slightly bigger ones. A kid, four hellhounds. Still puppies considering their small size. I ran Towards the kid slashing at the hellhounds. "Run!" I yelled hoping to get him over the border, but he just stood there shocked. I rolled under and slashed and stabbed its Intestines. "Go!" That seemed to snap him out of it. He ran behind a nearby tree. "You really think a tree's going to protect you?" I mentally groaned. I jumped to the right, slashing to the left beheading the third hellhound. "One more" I muttered, annoyed. "Where are you little buddy," Suddenly I checked up on the kid, and sure enough, he was about to get turned into mincemeat. "Hey, you, oversized Chihuahua, come and get me!" I taunted hoping to buy the kid some time. I ran over, jumping over the hellhound my sword pointing down leaving a long opening in the hellhounds fur, it collapsed, turning into Gold-colored dust. I dropped my sword hoping to check up on the kid, I turned around. He wasn't there. Suddenly I was pushed from behind and fell. I slowly got up just as people started arriving. The kid picked up my sword. "I killed those dogs while he watched, terrified." claimed the kid. 'Says the one who literally wet his pants' I thought looking at the wet grass a few feet behind him. Everyone stared at him, eye's shining. Then stared at me with a disgraceful gaze. Surely, nobody would believe him over me, right? Right? "I thought I taught you better than this my boy, but I guess, fame got the better of you, "said Chiron. Suddenly, a blue trident rose over the kid's head. Chiron walked up then kneeled, along with the rest of the camp. "All hail, well, erm..." "Bentley Jones, "The kid pronounced proudly. "All hail Bentley Jones son of Poseidon. "Chiron finished. Just Freaking Great  

 One week later

 Life had been hell for me these past couple of days, and Bentley, didn't help much. Actually, he caused most of it, tipping the tides of the camp against me. Enforcing the thought that I, the once great Hero, had turned sour and weak. I was beginning to think that he was sent by Zeus to get rid of me. I woke up and looked at the clock. 6:00 AM. Then I looked around, nothing seemed off... But I couldn't get this uneasy feeling out of my gut. Then I looked at the slightly open door. "Didn't I close it before I went to bed?" I thought aloud walking up to the door. Must have been Bentley that unresponsible son of a gun. I exited the cabin and looked around. Nothing. Nothing at all, it seemed as if the camp had been abandoned. I ignored the uneasy feeling and got dressed to hopefully train in peace. Oh, boy how wrong I was.

 I walked up to the dummies, uncapping riptide and slashed and stabbed, releasing all my stress and anger I held in this week, by the end, the dummy was just a hunk of stuffing. I snapped "Tell me, why would I Betray you when my fatal flaw is LOYALTY, HUH? "I said angrily, "Why would I work to destroy something I worked so hard to protect?" "Yeah right, Fame got the better of you Percy, it always does. "Piper said. "Wise-Girl, you believe me Right?" I asked desperately. She looked at me with disgust. "I never loved you and never will, Plus, I got a new Love" she gestured to Bentley, who smiled back smugly. They kissed. "Guess the fates really are cruel, "I said. Then I felt lightheaded, and a flash blinded me. Suddenly I was on a cold marble floor. "Perseus Jackson, for your traitorous acts of giving the enemy valuable information, we hereby sentence you to Tartarus for eternity" Boomed Zeus "Any last words?" "Death is upon you all. Just wait... I am going to become your lord, and even Zeus will crawl like a mud-worm at my feet, "I said with a sudden fury. A hole opened below me, and so began my descent into the eternal pit of Darkness.
