Twist hesitated but agreed with her and Dana left the room. He sat back down on his chair and stared at the ground. Loki, his Thugglet slug, hopped onto his shoulder and stared at his slinger worriedly, as if he didn't know what to do or what to say.

No one had told me what Twist has done to make the Shane Gang dislike him so much, but my guts was telling me that he was part of the reason why I lost my memories.

But he seems like a nice guy, that is genuinely worried for Slugterra.

"I'm sorry," he said, breaking the awkward silence in the room. "I was the reason why you almost lost your life."

"I forgive you."

"That is not what you would've said if you know what happened."

"I'm not sure about that. All I know is that you almost killed me," I smiled at him. "And you are the one that saved me, right?"

He looked up from the ground and stared at me with a confused expression.

"Who told you that?" he asked.

"My guts," I said. "Isn't it true?"

He chuckled, and shot me a charming smile.

Gosh how are the boys I met so far so freaking handsome?

"Your friends do not trust me, but they trust you. You need to get back your memories as soon as possible, Alessia. Only then will they trust me and Slugterra will be saved," he said. "I'm sorry. I don't mean to put the burden on you, but I have to, or else, everyone dies."

"Everyone I've met so far has done nothing else but encouraged me to recall my memories, but do I look like I know how?" I pouted and resumed to petting my slugs.

"No," he mumbled. "Do you remember anything? As in, anything at all?"

"I remember Eli by a nickname, Blue, and also this necklace," I said and showed him the necklace around my neck. "I think this necklace is somehow related to Blue."

He stared at the necklace, before his eyes gravitated to me.

"I really wish I could help," he said. "Not purely because you're the key to everyone's survival, but mostly because I genuinely care for you."

"Thank you," I thanked him and shot him a shy smile. He returned it.

Suddenly, there were sounds of mechabeasts stomping the ground and muffled conversations from outside the hospital. Twist shot up from his chair and walked towards the only window in the room and looked out to assess the situation.

"What's going on?" I asked curiously.

"Looks like everyone knows Alessia from the Shane Gang is here and wants to say hi," he answered, staring down at the big crowd of supporters outside the hospital.

...
Eli's pov
"How am I getting through this huge crowd without getting crushed?"

Lucky crouched down and hid us behind a huge bush, closely examining the situation. The entrance of the hospital was flooded with people and their mechabeasts, some were holding up posters, some were shouting at the hospital. Half of the crowd was eager to know how Alessia was doing, and the other half demanded to see her. Names of the Shane Gang was heard, especially Alessia's and mine. There was a line of barrier between the hospital and the crowds, with security guards stopping people from jumping over it and getting into the building.

Being the most popular slinging group in Slugterra is not necessarily a good thing. I can vouch for that now.

Joules perched on my shoulder and chirped.
