Nat's POV

I carry Rose all the way down to Bruce's lab where I explain to him what happened and after he takes a look on her traumas he wraps her up and gives her some painkillers. Thank god there weren't any broken bones.
We go back to her room and I put her to bed
"Mom I'm sorry" she softly said
"What do you mean you are sorry honey why would you be you did nothing wrong"
"Those girls...they called you a killer...and the entire class was looking at me frightened at the sound of my last name. I'm just sorry for that reputation of yours..."

A few tears escaped my eyes as I heard those words coming from the mouth of the human I ve loved the most in this and every other world,my girl. And those words were true,pure filling me and giving me the reassurance I ve been searching for so many many years, that I am not a monster, I am not the terrible incapable of love creature I thought all this time. No. I am no monster, I am more than just a trained killer,I am a mother, I am Natalia Alianovna Romanova and not just agent Romanoff, I m the woman this little girl looks up to snd calls mommy.We stayed there silently enjoying this one moment of pure affection, this outburst that was no weakness, but a need to feel loved. Some time later Rosie fell asleep while I was stroking her hair
"You are my everything babygirl"i whispered kissing her on he forehead softly
"I love you mom"she mumbled asleep stirring on her bed.
I left her room and gently shut the door. I hadn't realized how long we were in there until I entered the living room only to see everyone impatiently waiting for me
"What happened? How is she?" Wanda rushed to ask me giving me a hug
"Who hit our girl?" Tony asked ready to smack those girls faces off
"Bruce told us about Rosie's bruises is she ok? Why did that happen? Did anyone else get hit?" Steve asked
"It will only take one hit with Jonathan to smash their heads open no one messes with our Midgardian girl" Thor growled
"This might be the only time I'll have to agree with you brother" Loki added
"I don't think violence is a good way to cope with the problem maybe we should just tal-" Vision started but got interrupted by Wanda
"Vision shut it" she hissed "Nat tell us what happened"she continued
"Well some mean girls attacked her and kicked her in her ribs and stomach. She did not fight back cause she didn't want to cause a scene and been called a monster" i replied feeling nauseous thinking abt how much pain my baby was in. She did nothing wrong. Nothing to deserve that.
"That's it we are killing those bitches" Tony said getting up
"Avengers assemble" Steve barked
"Heyyy ayee all of you stop for a moment. There is no one that could possibly want to smack those bitches heads open right now than me but we have to keep it cool. Rosie wants to fit in and killing her classmates wont be particularly helpful will it?. I ll go by the school tomorrow and solve the problem but I ll make sure those bitches won't hurt her again." I concluded and everyone nodded in agreement my tone not leaving many options. We all had some wine and an hour later I was asleep in my bed breathing heavily
