Princess Snow and the Empress

Foreword

It all started with a broken foot, sitting around watching Chinese palace dramas, and a friend challenging me to write a short story. I did better than that, I wrote a whole novel, haha!

Months later, I participated in workshops by BootcampMentors and through them, I was selected to be mentored by Wattys 2016 winner and Wattpad Star AM-Prabeswar. I'm happy to announce that Princess Snow and the Empress was shortlisted for the 2022 Watty Awards!  

This is the rewrite after heavy editing and lots of polishing. There's more of everything in this version - more drama, more humor and Chinese culture. I hope that my love for Chinese food, mythology, wuxia movies and xianxia novels, shines through in this Asian fantasy Snow White retelling.

The rewrite would not have been possible if not for my mentor, who dedicated so much time and effort in helping me improve as a writer. I'm truly indebted to her; my story is a thousand times better because of her. Any mistakes or plot holes you see are my own, okay? Don't go after her XD

I also want to thank all my past readers, judges, reviewers and friends. Your support and love for the characters motivated me, and your comments helped me in fine-tuning the story to what it is today. And to my new readers, thank you all for giving my book a chance.
