White Love 35: Confusion and Realization
RYOSUKE YAMADA 山田涼介's POV
[So can you come over this weekend, Ryosuke?] I heard oka-san asked over the phone. This weekend?
"I don't know and I'm not sure if that's even possible, oka-san." I said politely while fixing the hem of my shirt. Well, first of all, Ayana wouldn't be there anyway so why should I go there? I better rest here than go there alone and lastly, I don't think it is a good idea for me to go there now since the rumor about me and Hiiragizawa-san hasn't died down yet.
[Oh, is that so? I'll just inform them that you're busy then.] I heard oka-san said which made me just nod before I went and sat on my bed once again to find my wallet in my drawer.
"Hai. Arigatou, oka-san." I said while searching for my wallet. Where the hell did I put that last night? I couldn't help myself but sighed once again. I was too exhausted from last night's taping to the point that I could no longer remember where I put my things but good thing that I didn't misplace my mobile phone.
[Anyways, how was Ayana-chan?] I heard oka-san ask while I'm still looking for my wallet. Ayana...
"She's doing fine, oka-san." I said but to be honest, I've been worrying about her, especially when she returned to work at Akizuki's cafe a few weeks ago. I couldn't stop myself from sighing once again. Now, I don't honestly know whether I should regret allowing Ayana to live separately or not after that incident happened to her a few days ago... Tsk.
[I'm so glad to hear that. By the way, I'm planning on visiting your older sister there in Tokyo the day after tomorrow and I was thinking if I could also visit Ayana-chan after that.] I heard oka-san said which made me just nod as I closed my drawer, stood up and went to look under my bed.
"I'll inform her about that, oka-san." I said as I looked under my bed and luckily, I finally found my wallet there. I immediately get it under my bed and sat on the bed once again. Mattaku... I can't believe it went under my bed.
[Really? Arigatou, son. Oh and by the way, I would also like to ask you one thing.] I heard oka-san ask while I was putting my wallet in my pant's pocket.
"What is it, oka-san?" I asked. I wonder what that is?
[You still haven't told me the reason why Ayana-chan suddenly changed her mobile number... Did something happen?] I heard oka-san asks curiously and worriedly at the same time, which made me stop. Ah, speaking of that incident a few days ago...
"Ah that..." I said as I tried to think of a reason why Ayana needs to change her phone number since...we've both decided not to tell them the real reason why she has to change her mobile number so suddenly.
