minjee felt like digging a hole and burying herself in it, escaping reality. in her case, she just wanted to flee as she couldn't take sitting on the other couch doing nothing as she watched both her cousin and roommate catching up with things they missed in the last two years.
she felt like an outsider and out of place. she didn't go to the same high school as them so she felt kind of left out. she tried to ignore their loud conversation but it was called loud for a reason. there was no way to avoid listening to their chatter.
minjee felt bored too.
she didn't have anything better to do right now so she just went with what typical generation z kids do. going on their gadgets.
and that was what she did. her thumb moved in a pattern, scrolling through her twitter home page, seeing the different and foolish tweets her mutuals posted. her eyes caught a tweet that she found interesting.
