My OC does live with the Turtles since Splinter found her as an orphan baby when he got the four turtles so she is the same age. She has brown hair and blue eyes. She wields two smaller blades then Leo's. Her outfit is a dark teal jumpsuit like April's and she has a dark teal mask like the guys. Now on with the show :) PS. First improved Fanfiction since I joined. And This is Akari's POV for the until the end or change POVs. Spoiler alert: There'll be a five book for the life the turtles after season 4. I decided not to do season five. I use a website called Fandom wiki to look for the scripts.
Akari's POV.
My name is Akari, which means "lights". I was found by Splinter when he moved her and he named me so. Anyway, I was in the dojo with my sensei and fellow ninja. I was a kunoichi, a female ninja. Since there are five of us, I always sit out on the pair sparring. But watching the guys and how they spar makes me laugh. I looked at my sensei as they guys got in position. Usually Master Splinter has me fight the winner of the sparring which is usually Raph or Leo. As always Leo and Mikey went first.
Leo charges as he yelled, "Yah" Mikey avoided Leo and charges as he taunts him, "Oh, yeah! Michelangelo is on the move!" Leo grunts as he charged and did his yell again. "Heeyah!" Mikey dodges again and taunts him more making me shake my head. " You don't know what to do. I'm here, I'm there. I could be anywhere. How do you stop what you can't even see?" I smirked knowing this move Leo does is unbeatable. Leo then use his katana handle and poke Mikey in the stomach, causing him to fall. Leo smirks and said, "Like that?" He then winks at me. Mikey groaned as he responded, "Good one, Leo"
Now it is Raph and Donnie's turn to spar. I know today is not the day I would spar the winner since today is Mutation Day for the turtles and my birthday. Since Splinter doesn't know my birthday, he made it the same day as the day as the turtles mutation day.
Raph started to mess with Donnie by taunting him, "All right, Donnie. Put down the staff and no one gets hurt." Donnie shook his head and responded, "Uh, you said that last time, Raph, and then you hurt me." Raph scoffs, "Yeah, but less than I would have." Donnie scoffs, " Yeah, right. Wah! Ah! Yah!" He charges but Raph grabs his staff. Raph breaks the staff in half. "Should've drop the staff?" I shook my head knowing this is going to cause Splinter to give Donnie another staff. Raph smirks, "Should've dropped the staff." He starts whacking Donnie on the back of his shell. Donnie yells as he gets wacked, "Okay okay. Ow! I'm down!" Leo walks up behind Raph. Raph turns around and looks at Leo. Leo kneels and spoke in Japanese, "Onegai shimasu" (I found out it means "Please do your best".) Raph shrugs and said, "Whatever you say." Both Leo and Raph took stance and charge. Leo did his yell and Raph stops him and had him on the ground. I shook my head knowing Leo was defeated. Raph smirks, "Nice try." Master Splinter, whom is a mutated rat, walks out. "Ya me!"(It means Stop.) The guys and I sat on our knees looking at Sensei. Knowing how Raph likes to brag, I knew he was about to brag to sensei. Sensei looks at us, "You all did very well. Sorry you didn't get a chance, Akari. Perhaps next time." Raph took this as chance to brag, "But I did better." Both me and Leo looked at him with a 'What The Heck' look. Splinter looks at his pupils and then at Raph, "This is about self-improvement, Raphael. It is not about winning and losing." Raph said as he put his hands behind his head, "I know, sensei. But I won and they lost." Splinter then put his finger on a pressure point on his neck causing him to change what he said, "Ah, ah, ah! But what's really important is that we all did our best. Good job, everyone! Ah!" I giggled at this and Splinter laughs.
We then headed to the kitchen where Mikey cooked up Algae and Worms for them to eat. I had some noodles, since my stomach couldn't handle the Algae and Worms. Leo was actually eating and enjoying it? Donnie said, "Bleh!" and didn't eat the worm. Mikey went to the table while stirring in the pot, "There's a little more algae and worms left if anyone wants it. Anybody? Anybody?" All the guys declined, "No thanks. I'm good. All yours" I shook my head enjoying my noodles. Mikey had hidden a cake behind his back. " Well, I guess no one left room for...cake!" The guys and I were amazed when we saw the cake. All the guys said, "woah." Donnie pointed out, "It is a cake!" Raph being the rude one, "Made of algae...and worms." Leo asked, "What's the frosting made out of?" Mikey suddenly pull the cake away briefly and responded, "You don't wanna know. Happy Mutation Day!" He held the cake out again. The guys and I yelled out, "Happy Mutation Day!" Leo then looks at me and added, "Happy Birthday, Akari." I smiled and hugs Leo for thanks. Little did I know he blushed. Splinter smiled and said, "Ah, yes. 15 years ago today ,our lives changed forever and we became the unlikeliest of families and have a human in our lives." He motioned to me. Mikey then begged him to tell them the story. "Tell us the story, Master Splinter." Splinter smiled even though his response was different, "Michelangelo, I have already told it many times." Mikey continues to beg, "Please! Pleeeease!" Raph then covers his mouth and talk, "Please. It's the only way to shut Mikey up." Splinter smiled and decided to tell it. " Ah, very well. Many years ago, when I was still human, I walked by a baby girl with no home and she reminded me of Miwa. I took her in as my daughter and named her Akari, until she grows of age and finds her family. The next day I went to the pet store to surprise Akari with a pet. I was leaving the pet store with four baby turtle." Mikey then interrupts, "That was us?" I looked at him with a scowl for interrupting the story. Splinter scolded him and continues, "Yes. Don't interrupt! I passed a strange man on the street. Something felt off about him. I decided to follow. The strange man then said, 'Go no further. This place is a place where you are not allowed to be in this place. We have been seen in this place by you, so this is not a place that will be left by you.' I then fought them but mutagen hit me turning me into a rat and I accidently dropped you four in it. I did return home to pick up Akari." He held the canister of the mutagen, "That was the beginning of our life together. It was the mysterious substance in this canister that, in a way, gave birth to us all, well almost all of us." Mikey then grabbed it hug it, "Mom." I looked at Leo, knowing he was about to talk to Splinter about what we all wanted, "So sensei, now that we're 15, I think we're finally ready to go up to the surface, don't you?" Splinter then use his old trick with us, "Yes and no." Mikey groaned, "Oh, man, come on." Leo scoff, "Lame. " Raph complains, "I hate when he does that." I nodded in agreement, since I never understood why I couldn't go up there. I'm a human after all. Splinter explains his reason, "You have grown powerful, but you are still young. You lack the maturity to use your skills wisely. Akari, it's not safe for you to go alone." Donnie quires, "So, sensei, isn't that just no?" I shook my head. Splinter responded to Donnie, "Yes...and no. Wisdom comes from experience and experience comes from making mistakes." Donnie thought this meant they can go, "Aha! So in order for us to gain the wisdom, we have to make the mistakes. So we can go." Splinter spat out, "No." Donnie meekly ask, "And yes?" Splinter again said, "No!" Donnie groans. I spoke up, "Sensei, we know you're trying to protect us." Leo piped in, "but we can't spend our whole lives hiding down here. Akari needs to be around other humans as well." I hated that he used me as an excuse but it's true. All the guys got on their knees and had a begging look. Splinter sighs, "Mm. You may go tonight." Mikey held his hand up , "High Three." Then they went to do their own thing. Mikey went to his room and Donnie to his lab. Raph was reading his magazine and Leo was watching Space Heroes. I just watch it with him. Leo started quoting Captain Ryan. "Gentleman, I have a bold and daring plan. There's no time for hesitation. My orders must be carried out without question!" Raph scoffs and teases Leo, "You know this show is stupid, right?" Leo defended his favorite show, "Space Heroes is a great show and Captain Ryan is a great hero. Someday, I am gonna be just like him." I smiled seeing how Leo is and thought it was cute. I shook my head and said, "Don't worry Leo. You'll be great hero one day." Raph teases him one more time, "Well, you do like to hear yourself talk, so you're on your way." Leo glares at him as Donnie and Mikey come in, "It's go time." Each guy did a bit of a show off move and I did spin both of my blades and put them in their sheaths. We all got in a line. Sensei then paced in front of us. "You are going up to a strange and hostile world. You must maintain awareness at all times." The guys and responded, "Aye, sensei!" We turned to leave and he speaks again. "Stay in the shadows." We got back in line. "Aye Sensei!" We get ready to leave again, "Stay in the shadows." We were starting to get annoyed a bit. "Aye Sensei!" We turn again. "Don't talk to strangers." We semi turned back around, "Aye Sensei" Splinter continues, " Everyone is a stranger." We didn't even bother to turn around. "Aye sensei" We went to the entrance and stop abruptly. "Make sure you go before you leave. The restrooms up there are filthy." We were embarrassed by this. "Sensei!" He sighs, "Good luck, my sons and daughter." We left in an excited chatter, "I am so pumped! Surface time! Oh, this is gonna be epic!" When we were gone, Splinter gave a warning, "Look both ways before crossing the street!" We didn't hear since we were long gone. We got to the street and all of us were in awe. Mikey said, "It's so beautiful." Leo had gotten excited, "The city is just full of possibility. There could be an adventure around this corner...or...or this one...or this one! There's not, but there could be!" Donnie saw a computer store and fanboyed, "Look at all the computers! Is that the next generation cadmium processor with quantum encryption?" I stopped and looked at it as Raph comes up from behind me. He asked Donnie sarcastically, "I don't know, Donatello. Is it?" Donnie looks again and fanboys once more, "It is!" I rolled my eyes and met up with Leo, "Its fun up here actually." Mikey gained my attention, "Guys, guys! Check this out. A hand made out of light. Now it's an eye made out of light. And the hand again! Now the eye's back! Now the hand!" Raph pulled him by his mask, "Come on, genius." Mikey shouted out, "The eye!" We all stood in the middle of the road talking. Donnie asked, "So where to next?" Before anyone can answer him, a kid on a pizza delivery bike drove up. He looked at all of us and screams while driving him away when Raph growls at him. He laughed and said, "That was kinda fun." Leo and I looked around. He said, " We're too exposed out here. Come on!" We all ran to a roof top not knowing Mikey picked up the box. When we got to the rooftop, Mikey had place the box on a flat surface. He tried to read it, "Pizz-za." Donnie looks to his brothers, " Should we open it?" I nodded since I could smell the inside and it smelt good. Leo, being cautious, warned, " Careful! It could be dangerous." I nodded as Raph opened the box and all of us looked inside. Donnie stated, "I think it's food." Hearing this I smiled brightly since it's food. Raph then looks at it, "It's not like any food I ever saw." Mikey looks at it, "I'll try it." He then acted like he hated, "Uh, yuck. You guys won't like it. I'll take the rest. -" The guys and I started to fight for it, "No way! - Nuh-uh! Back off!" I managed to get a slice and was in heaven, "Its amazing. Better than noodles." Raph smiled talking about the pizza, "I never thought I'd taste anything better than worms and algae, but this is amazing! Right?" Mikey cheered, "I love it up here!" After a while we stopped on a rooftop to rest.
