"I can never get you. You say that you've changed, but I don't see it. Maybe you are the same careless person," I voiced in frustration.
It's like he keeps on playing with my heart over and over again.
"I have changed, Ry—"
I shook my head, backing away from him. "I've never wanted to be a part of this life, Amir. The troubles and pain you have caused. I can't count how many times you or my brother has put me in danger. There's a reason why I left two years ago."
Since he has came back into my life, it's been shit. I try to avoid this street nonsense as much as I can, but that is never possible with the people I'm surrounded with.
"I know that, but Imma really try hard. Just don't leave," he slightly pleaded, lightly grabbing my hand. "I can't do this without you. One more time. If I fuck up, then you can leave me."
He then kissed me on my lips. I didn't kiss back though. No matter how much he apologizes or comes crawling back to me—it still doesn't mean shit because he's still the same.
Careless.
Hardheaded.
Arrogant.
All in my head, I'm thinking—why am I still in love with this fool?
