(17) 👩‍🍼Here comes baby Gabriel?👶🏼 pt 1

                             ~ 4 months later~

I'm officially 9 months pregnant, my waterbag could break any minute now. I just hopped out of the shower throwing on a panty and Jughead's T-shirt, Jughead came onto the bed and I immediately snuggled into him, nuzzling my face into his neck, finding a comfortable way to fall asleep. It was around two am and I woke up to a sharp pain in my stomach, I immediately jumped up when I felt a pool of liquid running down my leg

B- JUGHEAD!
J- mhmmm?
B- get the baby bag
J- what, why?
B- your so stupid when you just wake up, my water just broke you idi- ahhh fuck.
J- shit, put on a pajama pant and get in the car, I'll get the bag
B- ok, hurry- ahhh

I rushed in the car; Jughead coming in a few minutes later, we rushed to the hospital breaking a couple speed limits.

J- *shout* get y'all asses up, my girlfriend here is in labor

Front desk- shit sorry, we need an hospital bed for a woman in labor

Four doctors came running out with a hospital bed, they put her on the bed, she quickly grabbed my hand and I smiled at her going to the side of her bed, practically running along with the doctor as they ran, wheeling her to a room and asking questions along the way , Betty squinching up her face and squeezing my hand as a contraction hit. We finally reached the room, putting Betty on the bed, she didn't loose my hand once, I found a way to make it to the chair on the side of her bed somehow, and give her hand a kiss and a reassuring squeeze.

D(doctor)- Ms. Cooper we're gonna need you to let go of your boyfriends hand for he can go check you guys in and you can change into this dress
B- *roll her eyes* but I want to hold his hand
J- babe please, I'll be right back
B- but what if I have to start pushing and your not here? *sniffs*
D- I doubt that'll happen ms. Cooper
B- but it's still a possibility *a tear drops*
D- would it make you feel better to check how dilated you are
B- mhm- ahhh, yeah I think so
D- ok, imma need you to put your foot up and bend your knees while widening your legs and bringing it back down in that position
B- ok. Will birth hurt?
D- I never had a child before, so I can't tell you because some women give birth with no complaints and some scream at the top of their lungs *starts checking her cervix*
B- *nods* ok, thanks for trying to answer me *smiles*
D- *smiles* no problem honey, can you loose your boyfriend's hand now, he seriously needs to check you in *chuckles*
B- how dialated am I?
D- only four, you need to get to ten before you start pushing

The girl nodded letting her boyfriend hand go, giving him a quick kiss. After a while Jughead came back, he sat down and she  immediately grabbed his hand, squeezing it when she got a contraction. Three hours later the doctor came to check her dialation for like the third or fourth time that midnight and she was finally ready, it was finally time to push her baby out.

D- miss Cooper your ten centimeters dialated, imma need you to push on your next contraction until I'm finishing counting to three
B- mh- ahhh fuck, sorry
D- *chuckles* it's ok, we've had worse, but your so strong for a first time mother so far.
B- *nods* mhmm, I start pushing on the next contraction right?
D- yes

Betty stayed in that position, pushing whenever she had a contraction or was told too, she was honestly so strong through it all, about an hour and thirty minutes later we heard our baby's cry, bringing tears of joy to our eyes

D- do you want to hold her Betty (she got her name during labor) your still gonna have to deliver your placenta and that can take a while, maybe try breastfeeding her in the meantime, distract you from it all
B- you said she? *let's a tear drop and takes her baby*
D- yes, you got a healthy about 8 pound baby girl *smiles*
B- but the other doctor said she was a boy
D- well it's a girl, the doctor probably had mistaken the umbilical cord for a penis
B- I told you we should've gotten amniocentesis, it would've told you the sex of the child with complete accuracy.
J- Babe that was too much of a risk
B- But now she has all boy stuff, and we don't have money to get new ones
J- It's ok babe, when she gets older we can get new ones, but right now she doesn't even know what she's in and we need to get a name for this cutie
B- Ok, how about Gillian Elizabeth Jones
J- Jones?🥺
B- yes Jones babe
J- I love it, how did you just do that
B- do what?
J- come up with a name on the spot
B- I just came prepared
J- *chuckles* I love you

D- ok, I'm back and it looks like your placenta is delivered. You got a name for this cutie *smiles*
B- yes. Gillian Elizabeth Jones
D- that's so beautiful, I see you give her your first name as your middle name, it's really cute (she has the sign in sheet)
B- thank you, what's your name
D- my name is Hope Andrea Mikaelson
B- I like that name, it's cute
D- I also has my mom first name as my middle name

D- I guess they do. Imma need to steal little Gillian real quick, it's just to clean her up and cut the umbilical cord, wanna do the honor Jughead?

B- I'm gonna take a little nap, wake me up when you get back?

Jughead cut the umbilical cord and Hope cleaned Gillian, he came and sit down by Betty kissing her forehead as hope went to get the baby together, Betty and Jughead was talking when hope came back

D- oh, I see your already up
B- mhmm, couldn't sleep, to excited to see this little one
D- here you go
B- you can hold her for longer if you like? *smiles*
D- oh my gosh, really, thanks
B- you love kids so much, if you don't mind me asking, why don't you get one?
D- can't have kids *sad smile* (bruh, she and her boyfriend can't even have sex, because the dude melts😂😭)

D- it's ok, I've come to terms with it
B- I'll have a baby for you!
D- *chuckles* your like the first woman I ever heard talk about having more kids after giving birth
B- I'm being serious, you seem nice and you deserve a baby, and besides birth wasn't that bad; the contractions were way worse, and it's gonna be easier since it's my second birth
D- really?!

D- are you ok with this Jughead
J- Yh, it's fine, it's her body and her choice, besides I trust her with my whole heart.
D- I'm gonna call my boyfriend, be right back *gives Gillian to Betty*

Betty watched the girl left and giggled to herself, happy to make someone so nice and kind happy.

B- thanks for agreeing babe
J- I meant what I said Betty, it's ok
B- but still, I should've asked you first, but she looked so happy with Gillian and I-
