32. Almost Missing Out

Moonsik:
"I miss you, Appa."

Moonsik is sniffling as he speaks. I see Inna hand him a tissue and Moonsik wipes his face.

Namjoon:
"Oh, I miss you, too, Moonsik! Your mom said you are stuck in traffic, but we still have a lot of time before the concert starts, so don't worry too much. But, if you don't make it before I start to perform, I can give you the full backstage treatment after the concert, okay?"

Moonsik:
"Really?!"

Namjoon:
"Yes, of course! And, don't forget, you and your mom are staying with me tonight! You're going to sleep over in my hotel room!"

Moonsik:
"I know! I'm excited! Mommy packed everything we need!"

Namjoon:
"That's good! I'm really excited to see you both!"

Moonsik:
"I'm excited to see you, too, Appa! And, all the hyungs! I'm going to be singing loud during the concert!"

Namjoon:
"I hope you do, Kiddo! I made sure you have a good spot at the stadium!"

Moonsik:
"Thanks, Appa!"

Moonsik and Namjoon talk for a little while longer until Namjoon informs Moonsik that he has to go take care of something. Moonsik hands the phone to me so I can see my handsome man before he hangs up.

I'm glad he called because the FaceTime conversation honestly calmed both Moonsik's and my nerves. Just listening to Moonsik cheerfully talking to his dad made me feel like everything was going to be okay.

It definitely helped distract us from traffic, and not long after Namjoon got off the phone, Lucy is driving into the direction that we were instructed to go for more private parking.

We get through security and have our own security staff escort us and not long after, we finally make it into the dressing room.

The first to spot us is Jungkook and Hoseok.

"MOONSIK! YOU MADE IT!" Jungkook enthusiastically yells as he gets on his knees, holding his arms open for Moonsik.

"JUNGKOOK-HYUNG!" Moonsik squeals as he runs into his arms. While they are in an embrace, Hoseok greets and hugs me, Inna and Lucy.

Jin, Jimin, Taehyung and Taehyung's girlfriend, Yoohyeon, approach us and all the guys give Moonsik love and attention in the form of hugs and ruffling his thick head of hair. The smile on Moonsik's face was just so infectious!

While everyone is doting on Moonsik, Namjoon and Yoongi enter the dressing room. Namjoon first approaches me and wraps his arms around me while my arms snake around his neck. We share a much needed kiss. I've been so deprived of him.

After we get our little moment, Namjoon walks away momentarily. He reappears with a few bags and gets close to Moonsik. Our son spots him and it's like the sweetest sight seeing him run into his dad's arms. Moonsik's action made Namjoon quickly place the bags on the ground to hug the boy.

After Namjoon and Moonsik hug and Moonsik tells him how happy he is to see his dad, Namjoon asks if he wants to look in the bags next to them.

"What's all of that?!" Moonsik's eyes are the size of saucers.

"Well why don't you check the bags," Namjoon encourages him with a big dimples smile on his face.

"OKAY!" Moonsik screams and digs into the first bag, where he pulls out four boxes of ARMY Bomb light sticks.

"Moonsik, those are light sticks! We have them all synced and ready for you, your mom, and your aunties. You hold them during the concert while you dance, and they change different colors," Jungkook explains enthusiastically.

"So cool!" Moonsik squeaks. Jimin opens one for him and shows him how it lights up with the help of the app on his phone and Moonsik looks so amazed.

In the other bags, Moonsik finds a Dynamite Tinytan plush doll of his dad, a bunch of Koya items and a lot of exclusive tour merchandise for him, me, Inna and Lucy.

"Appa, you're the best!" Moonsik kept hugging Namjoon throughout the little time they had before we had to head to the VIP area reserved for us.

In the VIP section we were taken to, I got to know Yoohyeon more and it's nice that I've been building connections with the other women who are involved with the members of BTS. If anyone knows the struggles of being with a member, Yoohyeon sure does since she's been with Taehyung for a long time now. She and I made sure to exchange numbers because we wanted to make sure we could communicate with each other.

When the concert started off with 'Butter,' my son jumped out of his seat and went crazy! I couldn't help but laugh at how adorable he was watching his dad and hyungs perform! I took a lot of videos of Moonsik singing and dancing so heartily because I know Namjoon would love watching them later. When Moonsik's favorite song, Anpanman, started being performed by the guys, he asked for my ARMY bomb and proudly waved both his and mine in his hands as he sang and dance. I let him hold onto both the rest of the concert because I just couldn't resist the sight of him looking so joyful.

Moonsik screamed so loud when Namjoon rapped 'Persona.' Throughout the concert, he kept muttering 'Appa' proudly every time Namjoon was doing a part of a song. He knows to be secretive about our family for our safety, but I wish he could yell 'APPA!' loud and not have to worry.

Moonsik had the time of his life. And, so did I, by just merely seeing my son watching his dad, proudly.
