You have been awake for a while now but you couldn't leave the bed. From yesterday evening you felt very weird , you couldn't pinpoint but you felt very low on energy, you just thought it was maybe exhaustion.
For the past 2 weeks your body was working much more than it did in the last 2 months. Almost every alternate day you meet Yun, sometimes just a small meeting around his school when Jess comes to pick him, sometimes the entire day at the mansion or just somewhere outside. Yun was happy, really happy, you could see it on his face every time you met him. Even Jess told you that these days he is more active and cheerful. It was most important. You couldn't neglect him and seeing that he was finally doing better made you feel at ease.
Other than meeting Yun, you even hung out with Tae a lot, he took you for lunch a few times. Maybe that is why your body was feeling so low you thought.
But this morning when you woke up you had a mild headache and you felt as if your body was burning despite the aircon being on. You decreased the temperature to the lowest and threw off the blanket when you woke up covered in your own sweat.
It had been a few minutes but your body still felt as if on fire. It felt as if standing in the middle of an erupting volcano.
It was past the time for breakfast and you had still not left your room which was very unusual, normally you woke up fairly really and helped ajumma in cooking and also accompanied Namjoon for his morning work. Today when he didn't receive any response after knocking twice Namjoon left for a walk assuming you weren't up yet.
But now it was past 10, he had been waiting for a while to have breakfast but you had still not come. Ajhumma also wasn't home, she left for grocery shopping after making breakfast. The plan was that you would also go but when you didn't come down she had to leave alone.
He finally decided to check up on you. He knocked a few times but got no response.
"Yn? Are uh in there?" He knocked again.
Even after calling out multiple times he didn't get any response which made him anxious.
"Yn? If you don't say anything I will enter"
Still getting no response he finally decided to burst in.
The moment he opened the door he felt cold air hit him, he realised the temperature was really low inside which almost made him shiver.
"Yn?" He softly called seeing you all curled up like a ball, eyes barely open, only after he took several steps in he realised your entire body was covered in sweat. Your thin cotton tee was sticking to your body, damp hairs covering your forehead.
"Yn? What happened?" He crouched down near your bed carefully wiping some sweat off your face.
"Namjo.oon...h..hot...it feels too hot..." You mumbled barely able to keep your eyes open. "My.body...f..feels like b... burning.."
Namjoon immediately rushed to the washroom , he knew what he was. He had read about this while researching pregnancy and even Lily had briefed him about it.
No time to panic Namjoon, you have to help her.
Due to excessive hormonal changes sometimes the pregnant women can feel hot, extremely hot as if her body is burning. It was a natural reaction of the body and nothing to be scared of .
He gently began dabbing the wet towel on your body , he began with your forehead and continued down to your arms and chest.
"Does it feel any better?" He cooed, removing the wet strands of your airs from your forehead. You simply nodded. "Yes but it is still burning" You voice was so low barely audible, he could see tears accumulated in your eyes.
