Valeria Garcia pov

"I hope everyone has had a good night so let's make it even better. I have a group of girls who will dance and if wanted, to have a date with the highest bidder so don't be afraid to yell how much money your willing to pay" the lady that was in charge of everything said while she was on the stage with a clip board in one hand and the microphone in the other.

"Okay ladies you will have to say your name and what you like to do for fun." The lady then said.

After most people were called up to the stage it was McKenzies turn.

"I'm McKenzie and I like to sleep"

"10,000" a person yelled.

'Kenzie is way more worth then 10 grand but okay'

"30 grand" another person yelled.

"50 grand" another person yelled.

"50 grand anyone wants to go to more" the lady yelled.

Everyone was quiet. "Okay 50 grand it is".

Next up was Nora.

"I'm Nora and I like to prove people wrong".

She really did like to prove people wrong at times.

A random man yells "20 grand"

Then another man yells "100 grand"

Then another person yells "500 grand".

"Okay 500 grand anyone wants to go for more?" the lady says again.

Again it's quiet.

"Okay thank you for your donation Mr. Diego de Luca".

I couldn't believe it Diego de Luca wanted a dance with my best friend for 500 grand.

"Okay last but not least Valerie Garcia" the lady called me up on the stage.

You walk up to the stage looking at so many guys about in their late 20s or early 30s.

"I'm Valerie and I like to make sure I'm in charge"you said really not wanting to dance with anyone.

"40 grand" a guy yells

"100 grand" anyone one yells

Then the numbers keep going up and up until someone yells 2 million.

You couldn't believe it someone wanted to dance with you for 2 million. No one spoke up after the person yelled 2 million.

"Okay 2 million wow thank you Mr. Giovanni de Luca" the lady says.

I couldn't believe it Giovanni de Luca was going to dance with me for 2 million.

After in about 5 minutes all the girls had to meet up with their dance partners.

Giovanni comes up to you with one hand out

"You ready to dance love?"

I remember that this was partly for a mission so I grabbed his hand and go to the dance floor.

A slow song starts to play and people start to dance to it.

Giovanni puts his hand on my lower back, sending me chills.

He chuckles at my response to him touching you.

"Don't step on my shoes love" Giovanni says.

I look down to your feet and then end up stepping on him.

"You don't really dance do you" he says.

"Well after you ruining what was supposed to be the greatest night of my life I stoped dancing" I say back to him.

The day of my quince Giovanni and a couple of his men ended up ruining it and killing or injured about 35 people that attended.

After that night I knew never to trust him or put up with him.

(Also a quince is a 15th birthday that people celebrate)

"Your still mad about that?" Giovanni says.

"Just shut up and keep dancing" I tell him.

We continued to dance.

It's the end of the slow song

"Hopefully next time this happens you won't step on my feet" Giovanni says before letting me go.

I look back into the crowd to see if I could spot him, but he was able to disappear.

I go back to the table.

"So what was that Val?"Jordan asks.

"It was the worst dance of my life that what it was"I say to him.

Then Sofia comes up to my mom.

"Camila I didn't know you were coming" Sofia says to my mother.

My mother and Sofia has been best friends since forever.

"Oh well I can't let Fernando show up alone"she says with a smile.

Then my mother leaves the table to go talk with Sofia.

Giovanni de Luca pov
Right after he left Valerie

After letting Valerie go she went back to her table and I went back to mine.

"Some dance you had there" Diego says.

"Oh please remember what father said try to set as much information like I would ever enjoy time with her" I said.

"Giovanni" my mother said.

"Sorry mother"

My mom looks over to the Garcia table and sees Camila.

Camila and my mom are best friends their each other's ride or die.

"I'm going to go talk to Camila I'll be back boys" my mother says before going to their table

Then for some reason Nora and Valerie come over to us.

"Ladies what brings you here?" Diego says to them.

"Well maybe I just missed you" Nora says to Diego.

He just smiles at Nora and let's her sit next to him.
"And you, what brings you here?" I asked Valerie because she seemed kinda awkward with Nora and my brother.

"Honestly, I don't know just something told me I should be here" she says in response.

She then grabs a seat right next to me.

"Come on" I told her before grabbing her wrist and dragging her to the back of the mansion.

"It was way to boring over there" I told her.

"Let alone awkward" she says in response.

We both laugh.
