"Makes me wanna stay in bed all day." He says.
"We just met and already you're talking about bed. Not very subtle." Meredith says.
Evi sticks the sticker from the apple on Meredith's hand.
"I should've stayed in bed. That way I wouldn't have put my hand on a bomb. Then I wouldn't have to get cleared for surgery by my ass of a therapist." Evi says pouting.
"You'll get cleared Evi." Meredith says.
"When? When I'm old a grey? Surgery is my life I need to be in the OR. Nothing good comes out of sitting in the gallery."
The stranger watches the encounter with a raised eyebrow.
"Subtle has never been my strong suit. So... do you ever go out with co-workers?" He asks eyes trained on Evi.
Evi smiles. "I'm married."
"I don't see a ring."
Evi scowls at him. "Shut up."
He chuckles. "And you?" He asks Meredith.
"I um...make it a rule not to." She says.
"Then I am so glad that I don't work here."
"Are you hitting on me? In a hospital?"
"Would that be wrong?"
"I'm Meredith. And that's Evi." Meredith introduces the two.
"Mark." He says shaking Meredith's hand then Evi's.
All of sudden Derek punches Mark really hard across the face. Mark falls to the ground.
Derek shakes his hand. "Aah!"
"What the hell!" Evi asks rounding the nurses station to check on Mark.
"What the hell was that?!" Meredith asks stunned.
"That was Mark." Derek says wincing.
Evi peers down at Mark. "Are you okay?" She asks. He only groans in response.

The interns were peering into the trauma room window from the nurses station. Meredith and Mark was inside.
"Why is he suturing his own face?" George asks.
"To turn me on." Cristina says.
"Cause he's Mark Sloan. He's like the go-to plastic surgeon on the East Coast." Alex says.
George was shocked. "That's the guy Addison was sleeping with?"
"You can't really blame her, can you?" Izzie says.
"No, not really." Evi says biting her apple.
"Yes you can." George says.
Meredith comes up to them. "McSexy wants an x-ray to check for fractures and I think it's a bad idea if I take him."
"Why? Why?" George pesters.
"I'm on it." Alex says leaving.
"Why is it a bad idea?" George asks.
"McSexy?" Cristina asks.
"No." Evi shakes her head.
"McYummy." Izzie says.
"No." Meredith and Cristina say.
"McSteamy." Evi throws out.
"Oh there it is." Cristina says.
