We rode for two straight days. I couldn't hardly walk when I got off my horse. It was the hardest I've ever ridden in such a short time.
We reached the White City and it was beautiful. But the people were hardly welcoming. We put our horses up as I made sure the stable hand gave them extra hay. Gandalf then turned to me and Pippin.
"Do not say anything. Just let me do the talking. And do not mention anything about Boromir, do you understand?" He whispered as I nodded my head.
"Good. Now follow me," the wizard said as Pippin and I followed.
Aragorn
I was a wreck as I watched Farrien leave. My bracelet felt a little tighter as I fidgeted with it. Legolas walked up to me.
"I should have realized it then," he sighed as I was confused.
"Realized what when?" I asked.
"When Haldir gave those to you," he said, indicating the bracelet. My eyes widened.
"What? Hm..." I couldn't speak.
"Do not worry Aragorn... Farrien is not the first one for me that has gotten away..." the elf sighed.
"What will you do Legolas? Your father will not take it kindly," I said, for I knew it to be true.
"I am not sure... but maybe aiding in the war to defeat Sauron will soften his temper," he said.
"Let us hope," I replied.
