"Okay! Maybe it wasn't the best idea to go on maternity leave just after becoming a chief! I have no idea what any of this means!" Maya says looking at files Boden has left for her
"You'll figure it out! How about we call Boden and ask him?" Casey suggests
"He's retired! I'm not asking him to come back and do his old job!" Maya says
"Truck 81, Squad 3, Ambulance 61, House Fire, rose bank avenue" The intercom says
"Don't let me down!" Maya shouts as Casey runs out
Maya hates to admit this but she actually misses going out on calls and being the captain on squad
"Chief?" Connie says standing at the door
"Yeah? What's up Connie?" Maya asks smiling
"Firehouse 98 have a problem and want you to head over there" Connie says
"Great! I'll head over now!" Maya says as she picks up her keys
Maya drives over to 98 and is greeted by there squad Luitenent
"Luitenent Clarke!" Maya says
"Maya Avery! Well I never! Who let you become chief!?" Clarke says laughing
"Chief Boden!" Maya says smiling
"I heard your a mom now?" Clarke says
"Oh yeah! His names Noah! He's just over 1 month old now!" Maya says as she grabs her phone and shows him a picture
"That's great! Considering you couldn't get pregnant and all!" Clarke says
"So how come your over here? I thought you would of stayed in New York?" Maya says as she sits down on the edge of the truck
"Yeah I had a job offer and took it! That's actually why I wanted you here!" Clarke says nervously
"Lay it on me!" Maya says smiling
"So there's this guy over in New York! And he's an amazing firefighter and I really think he would benefit the CFD especially this area! His name is Mike Allen!" Clarke explains
"So you want him transferred here?" Maya asks
"Yes.." Clarke says nervously
"Okay! He better be as good as you say he is! As long as his battalion chief gives him the okay then I'm good with it!" Maya says smiling
"Thank you Maya! Your the best!" Clarke says giving Maya a hug
"Better get back now! Stay outta trouble!" Maya shouts as she gets into her car
When she arrives back she has had tons of missed calls from New York's battalion chief
"Hello?" Maya says as she answers the phone
"Trying to steal my best firefighter huh? You better watch out Avery!" The man says as he ends the call
